 Ps 10 17You hear, O LORD , the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
 18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more."

The Psalmist describes the culture of the world that has been changed redefining Gods axioms. He is describing this change that has been carried on from one generation to another as it is conceived in the desires of man. He is teaching that God has described the invisible progression of evil as evidenced by corrupted speech. Gods creation of the entire history of the world is view in one idea. God does not think in succession of time. God lives with a complete understanding of the good and evil that transpire in time. So we can say that God knows Himself perfectly because He knows the causes, and the actions of everything that He created. If you take a snap shot of a moment in time God is always the same in all the snap shots. We must understand that God is able to make all things right at any point in time. Because He knows all things He is able to change a thing back to perfect order.  But man is like the rough oceans. Man is always experiencing change and uncertainty.

Because God understands all things perfectly then He is the only one who can identify the problem and know the ultimate solution. The truth is that God has made man with the ability to rule like God. Man was able to use his reason to rule the creation. But when sin entered the world , man lost his ability to control himself in ruling the creation. This is why the only solution to our troubles and lack of ability begins and ends in Gods actions. The Psalmist is describing the one desire of God as the foundation of the one idea that God has of all time. So when God makes an assessment of the reasons for the present conditions of this time, He has a view of the evil inception as it has spread and blossomed from the beginning of time. Gods view of time is not divided or processed. It is always one eternal idea.

When we are saved we go from a physical view of the creation to a spiritual view. Gods control over all things comes from His simplicity of desire. God is and therefore all things exist. God is always who He is. But we are always experiencing change and uncertainty. We think that we can change the  things we can control and not be concerned for the things we cannot control. But in order for us to understand control we must see that Gods control controls us. You see we would never know ourselves if God were not able to know Himself. The Psalmist is applying the law, covenants,curses, statutes, decrees and promises in uniting our uncertainty with God always being who God is. He is teaching that God hears our desires, and with a much greater attentiveness God prepares the action, and with an even greater attentiveness God causes the repair.

God created man to control all the creation. Nothing was outside of mans control. The truth is that we cannot be secure without complete control. God must bring us back to our original purpose in the creation covenant. God has revealed His desires and actions in the pronouncements. We must change by the reordering of our corrupted desires. The only way to be change is to be transformed by understanding who we are when we pronounce the axioms. Because the axioms are Gods never changing desires. We have no security in our own finite control of our lives. We must be as God is. When the Psalmist says that God hears our desires , He is saying that God hears our desires as we are transformed by the axioms.
