Kk you told me that if we reject God by not repenting or coming clean etc...then He will turn away from us until we repent. Im not going to go back and find it but this has been an ongoing frustration of mine to pin point just where you stand. Im doing my best to describe this grace and also glad that your trying to concede in some ways. I only get picky when we are talking about doctrine.. forgive me this is only one side of me.

Kk your killing me with your kindness... lol

Kk believes that God is like your average movie producer. I remember this when i was young about the teaching that Gods gonna bring us before the eternal projector and play the movie of our lives... i was always hoping there would be popcorn.. lol.
So Kk makes a mockery of our courts by drawing a picture of the judge pronouncing the punishment as turning on the projector and showing the person his crime... lol... so the pain is crying and weeping over what he sees in the movie.. lol...there will be no jails ... no stripped pants and shirts but a simple eternal movie and a few tears... God is really nice but awfully small. lol

thor:  "We will all be judged by our acts, which is the outward expression of our true beliefs...so says Jesus and Paul and everyone one else that came after them."

K_k:  When God judges an action, we can be sure He knows all the factors involved, including our real motivation, our understanding at the time, the often hidden influences acting against us, unclear related impacts on other people, and well, uh, everything else there is to know about each act.  So we will not just be judged by our outward actions, but by the entire reality of each act, including the internal micro-choices we make in preparing for and doing the action.  Just wanted to be sure we are aware that even what may appear as our "good deeds" sometimes, will be seen for what they may actually be -- sin.

Which kind of undermines legalism, doesn't it...

mbG:  "The wicked are those who practice sin... sin is anything that misses the mark.. sin is also rebellion against lawful authority... it is to speak in a way that is not authorized by God."

K_k:  The wicked are those who continually practice sin, i would put it.  Because all Believers in Christ will sometimes practice sin, but they will come to true repentance sooner or later, while unbelievers cannot help but continually practice sin since they do not have the Source of righteousness transforming them (however slowly and patiently).  Believers will often "miss the mark" of perfection, but have the Mark of God living in them.  Unbelievers always "miss the mark" apart from the Mark of God, though they may do "good works".  Only One is the Mark of perfection, Christ.

Rebellion against authority matters most when it comes to asking for / receiving the One Who obeyed perfect Authority perfectly.  All other rebellion flows from rejecting and suppressing the Spirit Who leads us to the Savior and baptizes us into His Body, as we receive the unending Life of the Savior.

Romans 1:16-19
"For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek (gentile).  For in it the Righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just (righteous) shall live by faith.”

"For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the Truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them."

Romans 8:8-11
"So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.  And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is Life because of righteousness.  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give Life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you."

K_k:  And it is only those actions guided and empowered by the Spirit that are righteous in His sight.

Kk believes that repentance is for us to receive grace. He is saying that God waits until we give up drugs ... or in his words we come clean and admit our powerlessness. But this is not what the bible teaches. The bible teaches that when we come to Christ we come as we are. Not with promises or determinations. But we come because there is no where else to go. We come on the basis that we have received grace. Kk tries to divide repentance into those outward addictions and the what he calls being completely honest before another person. So he says that if we are doing this then we havent repented and we are not going to get Gods good help. Kk believes that if we are responsible then we will prove it by acknowledging the sin in a group and in coming clean we will not drink because we are life time drunks so to speak. This is Kks doctrine of christian repentance.
But we know that repentance is not over one sin...or addiction but forgiveness was obtained at the cross. When we were forgiven we experience a power change. We no longer are slaves to our sin nature but now we are free in Christ. Repentance becomes our attitude about sin and our living in the power of grace. Repentance becomes a way of life. We enjoy the fruits of forgiveness not by our going to other people or coming clean but simply acknowledging our sin. Our focus in repentance is not through acts of contrition or confessing in public but its on sinning and getting rite back up. When we get rite back up we show that we are growing in grace. No man can stand in between receiving forgiveness and enjoying the fruits of that forgiveness. It is given directly to us upon confessing. When we confess before God nothing needs to be seen.... then those who accuse are in danger of receiving judgement. This is the proper practice in the christian church.

"Can you tell me, yep, which of these steps you personally have never done and don't intend to do?"

Fact is, I was in leadership in various twelve step groups prior to being a Christian... and they teach, as did the developers of the twelve steps, that "God" could be electricity, Satan, Mother Earth, Father Time, dirt, dung, whatever one felt like... So, if you utilize that logic, I have never done any of them... My comment, as logically expressed, was that these do not lead you to God. God either leads you from addiction, and addiction can lead to the decision trusting in God, but addiction in and of itself does not lead to God, especially when practicing the twelve steps as they were initially intended. Hope that answers your question...

"Just admitting we are enslaved doesn't give us any freedom at all, unless we also come to believe and hunger for / seek / find the One Who gives freedom.  I used to say something like "Hey, everyone, I'm a drunk!  I need another drink!  Here's a toast to slavery!!"

I never said it did. Read the quote again, and you will find that I am discussing another type of slavery.

Yes i agree...its very dangerous to pick and choose what is slavery. First because slavery is on both sides of the law. The bible does not just depict abuse as sexual or drug related or physical but its an abuse of power. We could have a perfectly patriarchal society and have the worse forms of slavery.
Slavery is compared to Hagar... she was a child of the law. Slavery is a state in which someone is under the law as it is a school master. When the law is used by an authority without an understanding of grace it is used for the purpose of abuse. A person who is not of Sarah who was under grace is a law unto themselves. In other words they devise their own set of principles in order to gain compliance and not to direct someone to grace or to Christ alone.

Authority under God is borrowed authority. It is not an intrinsic independent authority. This is why Christ warns rulers to kiss the Son or He will remove them ... judge them. Kissing the Son is acknowledging that He alone has the rite to rule and they are not autonomous. In other words true authority can only be carried out by God and those who are under Gods authority carry out the law because they have been given borrowed authority.
What are we saying here? That to kiss the Son is to acknowledge that all power is given to men by Christ. No one has the rite to financial gain without holding themselves to the moral standard of Christ gift of power and wealth. So no one owns their own lives. No one acquires wealth or power on their own. That is a gift of God. Therefore they really are not responsible to other men but directly responsible to God. In this way they condemn their own power and wealth as dangerous for the purpose of acknowledging Gods rite to rule by true justice as the only true Judge who has endured through all generations. Anyone who defies the authority of God is in some way abusive through mans laws.

We must get seek to rid ourselves of our addiction to trust in our own way. One of the definitions of trusting in our own way is to seek wrong counsel and to end in sitting in the seat of scoffers. Those voices that deny the value of trusting in God alone by faith alone.
This is why the word of God is set in direct conflict with mens counsel. The principle is that counsel comes in the night time. Its meditation... illumination... His voice of counsel in the night time or in the morning. Gods counsel is like a mountain that we look up to. Its Gods eternal viewing our lives and responding through us nite and day.
This is why we are given markers and warnings of wanting to go in the way of the rulers or the worldly wise. Because God gives us His view of this world so that we will not seek the place of prominence as an attitude. Instead God counsels us to be skeptical of men... skeptical of their high position... skeptical. We must seek God as He has told us. Because we naturally want to seek the place of prominence.
This is why God has only one way to approach true authority. It is through a sacrifice as sinners. We seek God on the basis of grace and mercy. God does things that are not like men. He takes the weak and the helpless and exalts them. These are the ones who approach God in simplicity. They approach God for only one thing. They rule the world through enjoying God for God and not for anything they receive. In other words God lays down the way and men who are wise do not go in the direction of other ways. They always approach God in need of mercy and grace.
But this is not the normal world. The normal world is self righteous. They seek to gain authority through their own goodness. So they stand against God and challenge Him people to unseat them of their position. This is why God leads His people through the dark providence's. The sheep are led through a world where the forces of evil men surround them and they only have one remedy. That is God coming to their rescue by striking the arrogant on the jaw so to speak.
This is why God gives His weak ones so much power. They are taught who is dangerous.. who is under the troubles of these men and who we must fight with. God gives His people wisdom that is not of this world. They see the real fight and they see the long term effects of evil. God teaches us to look at things as He sees the world upside down.

We experience anxiety because of the old life voices that are taught to us in our thought life. Its natural for us to think a certain way from birth. The normal way of thoughts is through natural restlessness because of being born in sin. Our experiences in our lives just enforce the evil tendencies an lead us to circular thinking. It may be that we are led along to be arrogant in our thought patterns... or we may be self effacing ...but there is no pattern that someone else does not experience. These thoughts have tremendous power. They keep us under the domination of our sinful condition. There is a sense in which the path way we have developed is like the poison that erupts in us that we cannot see as the connection to our anxiety.

This is why there is an indirect influence in the restlessness. The gospel is not just a word of encouragement or a promise made real but its the effects of rite thinking that create a thought life that has an overflow. Its like an aesthetic to pain and kind of like an involuntary response of pleasure in the spiritual condition. This is enjoying a level of freedom rather than reacting from anxiety out of a source that we do not know.

This is what the bible calls an redeemed attitude of heart. Or its a renewed mindset. So that we do not go to highs and lows on how we deal with sin or how we worry in the day but we seek to find out of our involuntary pleasure more of the glory of Christ. When we have found God we are not restless. On the one hand we are shielded from the power of the flesh and on the other hand we have courage to climb the heights of His love for us and to seek heaven for heavens sake.

"There are two realities going on in side of me. On the one hand i am saved and rejoicing in my christian life. When i meditate on the word i have something to look forward to in heaven that on this earth i never attain. Yet when i look at my life i feel weak and my relationships in family etc. never really satisfy me. At times it is just depressing to tell you the truth. I have seen that when we exalt God and worship Him according to His design and through His word we are lifted up in our experience and at some point we come down to earths realities. This is like the apostle says we long to get rid of this earthly sin and the limitations that bring us down. [\"groaning\" ] Sometimes the battle gets so fierce that we dont know which way is up or down. God works these trials into our lives to change us on the inside and because He is sovereign He knows just what we need when we need it. So these ultimate questions about trust and His character are not good questions. Rather we need to do as the Psalmist and that is ask those things of Him that argue for His promises. This is for His glory, and our natural relational tendencies when things are troubling to us. Great confidence is found when we go with boldness to the throne of Grace and argue our case as the psalmist does. We are then untroubled by the burden we have just unloaded on to the Lord. Try to learn how to plead the promises. This is a life long adventure." mbG

1913  Forums / Theology Forum / Re: OF THE WORK OF THE HOLY GHOST IN OUR SALVATION... Thomas Goodwin on: December 06, 2011, 11:54:07 AM
CHAPTER V:

His operations in every part and member of the church and body of Christ.

III. It is next to be considered what the Holy Ghost doth in every part and member of this body of Christ, the church; what he doth for every particular saint. For look, what he is to, and in the church universal, that he is first unto, and in, every saint in particular; for it is the particular individual saint that makes up the church universal; even as reason is first and principally in every particular and individual man; and by means thereof it is that reason is found, and so abounds in a body or assembly of men. They meeting together, every one severally brings a portion of it with him thereunto; so as the main of his work lies and consists in what he doth in and to every member. And when he falls upon assemblies of saints as met, yet it is so as he falls on the whole, by visiting the particular souls so assembled, and out of respect unto each single soul;

as when the rain falls upon a field of corn, it falls upon the whole for every particular blade's sake, watering every stalk at its root, and so all grow up together.

Hence therefore, Acts ii., where the fulfilling of those promises made in the 14th and 15th chapters of John, were in the first fruits of them accomplished, it is expressly indigitated that' the Spirit sat upon each of them:' ver. 8, 'And they were all' (that is, every one of them) ' filled with the Holy Ghost;' as organ pipes use to be with the common blast of the bellows that breathes wind into them, though by the difference of the pipes there is a differing sound. And thus the Holy Ghost doth, as one Spirit, inform and inspire the whole body of Christ, as the soul doth the whole body of a man. Eph. iv. 4, ' There is one body, and one Spirit,1 and the Spirit is

4. It follows from what has been observed, that when these terms necessary, impossible, irresistible, unable, &c. are used in cases wherein no insufficient will is supposed, or can be supposed, but the very nature of the supposed case itself excludes any opposition, will, or endeavor; they are then not used in their proper signification. The reason is manifest; in such cases we cannot use the words with reference to a supposable opposition, will, or endeavor. And therefore if any man uses these terms in such cases, he either uses them nonsensically, or in some new sense, diverse from their original and proper meaning. As for instance; if any one should affirm after this manner, That it is necessary for a man, or what must be, that he should choose virtue rather than vice, during the time that he prefers virtue to vice; and that it is a thing impossible and irresistible, that it should be otherwise than that he should have this choice, so long as this choice continues; such a one would use the terms must, irresistible, &c. with either insignificance, or in some new sense, diverse from their common use; which is with reference, as has been observed, to supposable opposition, unwillingness, and resistance; whereas, here, the very supposition excludes and denies any such thing: for the case supposed is that of being willing, and choosing.

Let me try to explain this further... put on one side our Calvinistic teaching of cause and effect... or the nature must also determine what the cause is. On the other side of the page put the picture of the scale with equal weights as representing libertarian free will. Now list the words...resistance, irresistible, inability, opposition, etc ...What Edwards is saying the farther you get away from the cause and effect motif the closer you get to the balanced scale the more crude is the usage of these words. The more immature usage of these words.

Kk teaches the the moral consequences of men as each one is not only defiance against a perfectly Holy God but they are the reason that other men suffer on this earth. Kk turns the justice of God on its head. A tooth for a tooth and eye for an eye. Instead of seeing Gods holy standard as valuable by the threat of punishment for law breakers ...Kk sweeps this under the rug by his unbiblical use of capital punishment. In other words why not defraud your neighbor? Why not steal from the poor and helpless? What threat do they have to dissuade them? That they will escape pain even tho they caused others to suffer in this life? Why would God tell the powerful and rich that they think they will get away with it in this life but this Holy God is watching and He will avenge the poor. What is this threat? annihilation? A simple shot in the arm and poof all is just?
What hope do the righteous have if God does not repay the wicked if He only allows the false scales of men who judge falsely to carry out the only justice for the crime? Why would God warn the rulers of this earth and the judges to protect the poor and helpless if He in fact would not enforce the punishment in eternity? What good is mans system of punishment of justice if God fails to back it up by His own standard of justice? Why would any ruler be subject to justice if God had no eternal standard? Not only is Kk annihilating mans moral responsibility but He is stripping God of His glory and power to exercise His justice.
But we know that God will avenge the poor and oppressed. He will turn the scales upside down in eternity. He will bring evil rulers to stand before Him and pronounce eternal judgement . God through all eternity will stand as the authority over every man who suffers in hell. He will forever show that the buck stops at His desk by standing for the poor and helpless who will be rewarded for their enduring the evils of these powerful men. If indeed God is not mocked on this side of heaven He ten times more will not be mocked in eternity.

Let me say this that salvation or deliverance is not just over a particular sin in our living but its the art of communicating in a way that produces an overcoming desire to put all of our sin, confidence, and those words that are on our lips as what produces the success. So we believe that there is a communication that God alone sees as evil even if it seems to produce positive changes. This communication has a distinct way of producing reality from the inside of person to his circumstances. If we focus on this work that God has done in what we say then we will experience real deliverance even if we do not overcome a sin completely.
This is why grace permeates not only the changes we have as to sin but it creates our world. We believe that salvation is in God alone so that He works in us to will and to do. Gods salvation in its purposes determines the end from the beginning. The natural desires of men are to find a middle ground. They want to divide our lives in two. They want to say that we do our part and God will do His. These words are a direct statement from Kks side.
But we believe that God must not only rule the world in His bringing men down but He must rule the tongue. In other words the problem with man is not his addictions but its that it goes deeper than that. It goes to what he is intrinsically. The bible focuses on the heart of man and it does not create a picture of man by one sin or even by one sin that causes man much problems. But it focuses on mans thoughts and his independent way of knowing himself by his thoughts. It does not focus on the outward sins but mainly on the sins of thought and word. The bible creates its own picture of the natural man. It produces a contrast with whatever man thinks he is and it brings a man to agree with its definition of men. The bible bores out a path that goes deep into man and the big evil is man thinking that he can change outside of the work that Christ has already obtained.

This is why the bible creates a comparison to One man. In a sense it seeks to remove all other created things from focusing on this One man. Every word and thought that a person has is centered around this one man so that reality is only found in His life alone. In this motif comes all of the language that is distinct from the natural mans language.

The wicked are those who practice sin... sin is anything that misses the mark.. sin is also rebellion against lawful authority... it is to speak in a way that is not authorized by God. This means that if you fall in one of these categories then you are wicked. So we believe that all men are intrinsically wicked but that some men are redeemed and are by identity with Christ completely righteous.
This is why Abraham in order to be justified by faith declared himself to be wicked. A lot of people do not really believe that we are justified by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone but they believe that human faith is what makes us righteous. So we are sinners but our faith is not corrupted. If there is any good in us that gives us an advantage then salvation is not by grace alone.
The gospel is the power of God for the salvation of sinners. It produces its own success. The gospel is a single message that reorders the way a man thinks of God and himself. The full gospel is only powerful if the words we believe about it are true. If we mix grace alone by faith alone in Christ alone with any message outside of this simple formula then it loses its power. I mean in our application. God still is God and He can use parts to make a whole.
This is why in order for us to believe that the gospel is by grace alone then we must declare that we are wicked. How does a righteous person live in the reality that he is wicked without bringing the work and name of Christ down? The righteous person comes to God as a sinner. In coming to God as a sinner that person acknowledges his own powerlessness to do one good thing without Christ. This is the advantage of living in the reality of salvation as a sinner. In acknowledging that we are sinners we are freed from the eternal consequences of that sin. In other words the way we get better is to experience the freedom to sin but enjoying the benefits of Gods grace in not only erasing that sin but taking away the desire to sin. The positive effects always produce righteousness. The negative effects always produce death. The positive grace works in us the fruit of righteousness... the negative condemnation of the law works in our flesh to produce death.
But we do not live by the letter of the law but by the Spirit. The Spirit gives life the law produces death. The law does not drive us to Christ as if we were alive to respond..but we believe in experiencing the law that we are unable in ourselves to gain acceptance by the law. In seeing ourselves as unable we conclude that if God were to hold our sins against us that we could be cut down and judged. But in this sense we no longer live in that old slavery mentality to the law. We live as fully accepted as if there was a great flood but we were on this great mountain and the flood of trouble was not able to rise up to our dwelling. It could not consume us.
So that we are encouraged as sinners to come boldly before the throne of grace to receive grace or deliverance... not only from sin but over the world the flesh and the devil. As sinners we stand in judgement over the nations.

The bible admonishes us to be sincere, literally "without wax."

"Without wax" stems from the Latin words “sin” (without) and “ceras” (wax) and is often said to be the origin of the English word “sincerity.” The story goes that the phrase “without wax” first became widespread during the height of Roman and Greek artistry, when sculptures first became a popular artistic medium. When a sculpture had a flaw, artists would fill in the chip or crack with colored wax to match the marble. Wax was said to serve as cover-up, masking imperfections on what was most likely cheap pottery. An arguably perfect or quality piece of work was therefore “without wax.” Pottery pieces were even said to be stamped with the phrase “without wax” as proof of authenticity."

So what does that mean to us, to be sincere?  Surely it doesn't mean perfect.  Like that would ever happen!  Well, we can be said to be perfect in Christ - hallelujah!  So it must mean to let our flaws and imperfections show.  I wish there were more of this in churches.  "I'm cracked, how about you?" Well, of course we are all cracked or we wouldn't need the Divine Savior.  To me you can't get "renewed" without being transparent - first with yourself, then God, then a select trusted few, then (as you feel brave, or it no longer matters) to an expanding circle.  One thing for sure, there will be no secrets in God's pad; but then we won't care enough about all this old stuff to dwell on it.  As AA puts it, "It's our secrets that make us sick."  They almost have it right.  It's our sins that make us sick, and we usually try to keep them secret.

Forgive me sw but this is just very one sided. Its based upon the presumption that sharing a secret will bring in the kingdom of Christ. I mean that is the only success that is worth boasting about. Now the bible is very specific about who we are and it provides the only basis as the authority of our behavior. We must distinguish between mans counsel and the bibles authoritative promises and proclamations. When i write a doctrine i write in in blood. But when i apply it to a persons life its just one application among many. So in a sense not only is the bible the rule of life and conduct but we must have the basis for knowing how to apply it in this personal way. So without the saving knowledge of the Spirit its just a process of miss application in the counsel.
This is why the bible seems to contradict itself in applying a principle... ie proverbs or psalms to the same looking situation in an opposite way. So we are required not only to know all the commands, promises, and statutes and decrees but the quality of our lives are determined by how we interpret these words. I mean to simply conclude that the bible gives authority for someone to use their system of checks and balances without the epistemological concern for accuracy is to make the teaching of man equal with the bible. And this is why these individual teachings are taken out of context.
Secrets only have power in that we have not completely identified with Christ who has broken the power of sin and sorrows. A lot of people look at things they struggle with and try to work them out as if they were not an individual but only valuable as they identify with a certain group of people. This is why God does not focus on the human agency to gain redemption. God distinguish gospel success in comparing it to being political. In a political organization people exclude those other people who do not support their particular view of politics. They do this by agreeing together that they will not speak bad about their candidate and they will keep on the message. When they advance their own cause they do it through excluding other parties. But God is not a political God. God looks on the heart.
God does not have allegiances based upon human conduct..upon the success or failure of human agencies. God on the other hand stands apart from mans system and men excluding other men through a form of socialistic order. But God demands that He alone be worshiped and out of that we live to glorify God by enjoying Him forever. Instead of seeking some kind of god like counsel from men, on the basis of being accepted in the group , God orders our future that cannot fail even when we do not apply these doctrines correctly. God performs reality and in a sense we hide from Him... stray from Him and do not come through in His standards as a group. Now listen to me....there is only one way of success in this life. There are not human ways to do something in order to be proud enough to arrive on another level. lol There is no redemption through other men. All of the forgiveness was earned at the cross for Gods elect. There is really no need to obtain forgiveness through confession. There is no steps in the christian faith. Its all mixed with the flavor of grace. Its all a life of repentance. Every act we do is an act of worship. Every time we wake up we do it under the authority of God as we live a life of prayer to Him. Listen to me... you cant get any better than when He saved you and sanctified you completely. The whole process we go through is by grace alone. You are free of all addictions... condemnation...and the slavery of men. You do not even have a great need for mens approval.  I hope that you continue to read more of what i will say.. i do not write outside of the doctrines of grace. I have never supported wrong authority after i became a Calvinist.
Let me say this.. early in my christian life i had a time where i moved along quite rapidly. I had an understanding beyond my age so to speak. So most men did not impress me. Ive been in the organizations of the other side. Ive been a mover and shaker so to speak. When i write i not only write from many different epistemological parts of the scripture ..let me explain... i have so much back log of mediation that i just highlight from one scripture to another. So you can use the scripture like Kk .. out of context ...lol.. or you can have a healthy view of scripture in light of the words in context with the near and far context. But sovereign grace is always applied to the understanding that we have of God and ourselves. This kind of writing is not mystical or imaginary but is grace writing.

cont... let me say there is a danger in receiving memories without a biblical basis of comparison. The old memories are wisdom only with the analogy of todays world through truth comparisons. A lot of the experience as that advantage to an older person is through old memories and the wisdom in seeing how the world has declined. This is what we lost in the 70s memories lies.
We only live one life.Everyday we fail to live in the long term memories is a day that we lose perspective in looking back. Listen the bible talks about a new day. The new day is tomorrow. The reason it is new is because it was made by the Lord and it has very little relation to the old day. Yesterdays news is old news. Listen if we do not collect memories in the kingdom way in the freedom we enjoy from one day to  another then in some ways there is no real understanding of the truth as it is in Jesus! God delivers us from our past every new day! The apostle says that he was not guilty of the past blood of all men.
Our long term memory is the kingdom teaching. It produces freedom in us by the rite focus of the kingdom freedom. A new day is what we long for. Its the next day when we are like a security guard who longs for the morning. In the morning is the start of a new life. It is having a new word of salvation that we look for in the morning....This is the first order of teaching a rite memory so that we do not become the frog in the pan of todays delusions. We can live in the old experience of a more free society and show how it is no longer enjoyed.

The apostle says to forget what is behind and press toward the high calling of God. Now i believe the apostle was not just talking about visual past but word form. Lets discuss the memory. Now this is a very inconsistent part of our experience. So we can say that a corrupted memory is not to be trusted. In the 70s there was a big push by the elites to focus on the memory as the mechanism for changing the way a person felt about themselves in the present. Let me say this that in all of history including the biblical ot history this kind of approach was never practiced. One is because it is a failure to communicate in word form as the mechanism for growth.
Now let me explain my thinking on this. In my experience we have two kinds of memories. We have a short term memory and a long term memory. The short term memory is not the caboose of the intellect. It is like the conscience that is not taught. It will not be dependable. First because the short term memory only deals with mostly what happens in the physical world. It is not directly related to the accumulation of knowledge but only is limited to the sense orientation. The misery of the human experience is when a person lives their lives as a form of communication on short term memories.
If the apostle was saying for us to forget what is behind then he is talking about a totally different kind of transformation than teaching the memory is the cause of change. lol He is introducing the function of the long term memory. This long term memory is what is the caboose of the experience. Because it is where is the agency of knowledge. This is why the apostle prays that the eyes of our heart will be opened and we will grow deep in the wisdom and knowledge of Christ. So the apostle is distinguishing between a reprobate who lives in the physical memory as his basic way of communicating and the righteous how have a transformed long term memory that creates a lost of bad memories. lol
Now this is what most people have no experience in. They just accept the truth that other people say as the gospel and they have no internal mechanism to draw from that exposes this and must be thrown out. But this is why we have this secret life of God in the soul of man. Deep calls to deep.. God calls the things out of the deep. The Spirit knows the deep things of God and He communicates in His language these things that we do not know quite how to articulate in prayer.
Now if we are led along by our short term memory then we will be most miserable. The mind is like a child that is hungry.. like a deer that is thirsty. It demands deep thoughts and long muses. It does not prosper in short term titillating sensual experiences. Its ani intuitive to a person . If they want to save their lives they will lose them. What is this ... its being led along by yesterdays visuals..lol
What we need to do is drive those worthless short term experiences out of our short term memory so that we only remember His work of transformation. This experience is that He will be our all in all. He will make our lives a testimony of His grace. Our memories of this earth will still be available but it will take thinking very hard to remember them. Our memories are the seeds of destruction that are made to be a self inflicted world view. We can dwell on the wrong things and be driven to live our lives in a sensual way or we can find the glorious illuminations tucked away in our long term memories that lead us to an eternal perspective. Dont waste your time in training in short term memories ... your sensuality will be your misery.

nice this is not the thread for this.. coming from a guy who is always directing people to the title...lol Kk..as my good friend used to say.. whatever ...lol

This concept of striking is an ot military analogy. There are specific pleas to heaven on behalf of Gods elect for the purpose of uniting Gods judgements to be enacted as if we were calling for the forces of heaven. I believe that these specific phrases in the Psalms are like a trumpet call to war. In other words we are active in the war from heaven by shouting these phrases.. We live in this world but we are sojourners not solders.. we belong to the armies of heaven. When we go to heaven our rewards will be in how we used the words of God to further His judgements on this earth as His generals...lol.
So we have these phrases... strike them with terror Oh Jehovah.... the nations must be brought to their knees in the long term. This is serious business. God is on His throne. He commands His armies! people! God is not asleep! We are just faithless and under confident. God has given us a mandate and it is that we will advance and bring the nations under our feet. They will be like the mud on our feet. But this is not our battle ..its Gods! Why would we think we were so important in the advancement of the earths success.. even in the gospel. Our rewards are not here. When are we going to fight the battle in our own minds?
But there are times when we pray that we are led to shout as if we were getting ready to advance against the enemy! We practice commanding the Lord of the armies and we will be advanced when we take our positions on the other side. His rewards in eternity are for His commands to be enacted by helpless servants. Have you ever fought in prayer as if God was in heaven and He was listening?
Striking is simply God intervening through supernatural wonders on behalf of His saints for the destruction of nations and the wicked. Striking is Gods spiritual forces bringing men into derision and pain for the purpose of Gods wonders to be praise by the king who is in the line of David. Listen we have a great lineage. We are related to all of the purposes of David. He was Gods representative of this earth as a real sinner who destroyed all of his enemies. Christ came and took the captivity captive. If Christ work is done completely then there is no need of the prayer of faith. We have our faith made site. Paaaa llllessse that has not been accomplished yet. We are still advancing for our position in heaven! We are forcing ourselves to the top of the chain in heaven..lol.
Im in the process of putting together the seven armies call.

The Revelation of John is my current project to memorize it and ingest it so that it becomes real to me.I am currently in a chapter of the abyss being introduced. These living creatures have a very big intermediate activity from heaven in Gods responses from heaven in enacting theses judgements that come from the throne of God in showing forth His glory by His eternal providence over all of the evil forces in the universe which includes those under the earth. Let me say that these spirits and Satan Himself are at war with Gods angels and these creatures who respond to the terrible events that are produced by the Devil to take the earth captive. The Devils anger rises to the heavens so to speak.
But these creatures .. whether they actual go away from the throne or they create the events through Gods decrees is questionable as far as i see at this time. Because if you look at all these sevens you will find that all of this order comes from the Lamb and His eyes.. or His divine knowledge that goes out into all the earth through these judgements. We can take heart that God who is both revealed and hidden is very local through His heavenly created order. For some reason He has decided to describe this local activity in the redemptive process through the agency of angels.
But these creatures are in their order for the purpose of showing that the most beautiful creatures who have divine knowledge in what i consider beyond our understanding are facing God and falling on their faces in worship... wow. And they have these characteristics for the purpose of showing their intermediary activity in the history of Gods redemption. A lot of people miss represent this revelation as just a future event. These visuals in the heavenly sphere are eternal visuals. They go back before the foundation of this world and they bring into focus Gods holy order as everything brings glory to Him by His design in creating these heavenly beings. When we look on God as He is on His throne all of these visuals paint a picture of His divine attributes. They are so glorious that anyone who comes and looks on God falls flat on his face.

Somehow the title of the thread, "Evil prayers" doesn't seem quite right.  Should be more like "Prayers of cursing".

And i can't help but remember that Jesus said to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who spitefully use us and persecute us.  Doesn't sound like He recommends prayers of cursing, does it.

Kk takes one verse and puts boundaries on God as to how God must respond. I may be wrong but i think Kk believes that Gods punishment of His Son is not really biblical and its boarders on abuse. Let me say this that we have slowly been inoculated in this religious culture from all of the pain in the punishment that has been inflicted in Gods ordering His work in the salvation of the elect. We not only accuse God of not giving us enough  in His revelation to heal us but we make God the ultimate abuser in showing His hate for sin that His Son had to endure for us.
Let me say that if we identify with Christ in His death then it is very much related in its effects as to how we judge that world and view sin in general. We in todays marketing environment use the gospel in a positive loving way to advance our own products.
If I developed a message that was somewhat redemptive and made me look as if i was fully engaged in the culture of my day then it really is that i am in some ways trying to advance my own agenda as if i was a child playing house and trying to get acceptance for my own importance. But if I really identified with someone who endured the ultimate punishment for doing something wrong and feeling the anger and pain that He endured as the basis for my own happiness then i would need to grow up in being freed from the constraints of what is normally acceptable.
This is exactly what we avoid at all cost. We want a Christ who gives us success without experiencing the pain and anger that He had to go through in order to show us who we really are. Let me say that if you are not being illuminated with this experience that there is something wrong with your process of thinking. In some ways you have bought into the sales pitch of anger management.
In my meditations over 20 yrs i have been brought to experience the most extreme hate as if i could not take it for one more minute. I have seen the terrible state of a corrupted world in my experience through the art of mediation. I am not trying to say that i know better than other men who have walked this path but whatever the revealing is that is my impersonal responsibility to pass on. If you want to critique me then you memorize the whole book of Psalms and ill respect your insight. If you let the sun go down on your wrath will do two things. For the reprobate it will grow up like a root and destroy you. For the christian it will make you mourn. Get out of that mourning ... go onto maturity.  But there is another way. Its to seek through the word your real identity in Christ.
This is why in this experience of illumination i have been driven to the most hateful experience. But there is an after effect. Most often.. unless God is hiding Himself for a reason to encourage more seeking... the after effects are just beyond my understanding. I am overcome by a love that i cannot put into words. Now this is something that comes from another source outside of myself and not in this semi pelagian way of a partial self atonement. But its rolling my sorrow and anger over to God through identifying with Christ. We must actively seek to take our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ and allow this message to determine the holistic healing of our most deepest experiences.

Our job so to speak is to protect the old testament concept of salvation from the virus of human works. I believe that the OT elect distinguished between a faithful covenant member from a reprobate by how they understood and believed the covenant of grace. There were pronouncements of blessing in the language of covenant faithfulness. The reason that it was not weighted in works was because there was a certain language of the elect. We can say it was a grace language.

The reason that the covenant people were in the relationship was because God initiated it. Abraham was an idol worshiper who worshiped the sun god when Jehovah appeared to him. God initiated the covenant and provided the way for Abraham by showing that He is a faithful God in walking alone through the halves of the animal that He would fulfill His covenant to Abraham. This was Gods act of kindness through His unfailing love given to Abraham based upon Gods favor. Gods favor is His gifts to sinners who do not deserve them. So the OT elect described their salvation as trusting in Gods unfailing love.

Deuteronomy 27:20
“Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he dishonors his father’s bed.” Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
Deuteronomy 27:19-21 (in Context) Deuteronomy 27 (Whole Chapter)

This is a normal response from God to law breakers. Just like you have the list of the ten commandments you have a promise that God will curse law breakers. What was the remedy for the curses? If God cursed all law breakers there would be no hope for any man. Because not only do men break the law but they do it with impunity. What was promised to Abraham? It was that through the covenant God would remove the curse and replace the curse with blessings. Because the covenant was a promise of blessing. The covenant was a blessing pronounced on Gods elect. Look at the words used in circumcising an infant. They were pronounced with a blessing. But the blessing pronouncement did not save that person. The child was still required to accept the promise himself. This is why there is no way to get the blessing through human works. It was given in the covenant and it was a secret work of God on real Israel. Gods covenant people through heart circumcision.
This is the thing... if i tell a person what faith is like if they have no saving knowledge of that faith then its like telling someone a tale in a novel and there is no way to prove that salvation exist. Because God must first open the mind and heart of that person and give them a nature so that they can see what we are saying.

Genesis 12:3
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Here is the covenant that God made with Abraham and his offspring. This covenant was further enforced in the reign of David. If you look it does not say that God will reward the righteous by their efforts in taking part in a society that has checks and balances but it says that those who treat Gods people with treachery will be cursed. This is why religion in America is no longer respected because we fail to take God serious in watching out for our own. We do not consider that God has set the order in this world and it starts from getting underneath each other and lifting each others burdens. I am not saying that responsibility is not important but i am saying that we first must have this working principle in our minds that no matter what the checks and balances are in a given situation we must take serious curses and blessings.
Listen if God were not a God of anger and judgement then He would be lazy in His responding to us His blessed ones. Why do you think the prophets prayed on behalf of the covenant people ... not to bless them in return for their work but to do as God had promised He would do for His people? lol Because God always goes back farther than man does. God judges the heart.. man looks on the outward appearance. If you look on the outward appearance then you will cause all kinds of harm to yourself and to other believers. You are required to find the causes in curses and blessings. You are required to set your heart on things above not on the things of this earth. In Gods world curses and blessings are paramount.

Heres the twelve steps to a new identity with the understanding that His work has freed us from the chains of sin. And it also does not violate the rights of privacy and freedom of speech and a right to defend oneself.

A Definition of Legalism
1. Using the Mosaic covenant as though it is the covenant between you and God.
2. Attempting to be justified by one's own works.
3. Attempting to be sanctified by one's own works
4. Suggesting that our worth or worthlessness, our self-esteem and self-satisfaction or lack thereof, rest on our own works.
5. Any attempt to please God judicially, or any supposition that our sin as believers has resulted in his judicial displeasure. [Any post-salvation attempt to maintain our judicial standing before God through good works, covenant faithfulness, merit etc..]
6. Teaching that we conform ourselves to our judicial standing in Christ (righteous and perfect) by our own works.
7. Attempting to attain godliness by a systematic change of behavior
8. Obedience that does not spring from a renewed heart
a. As of an unbeliever who has no renewed heart
b. As of a believer who has a renewed heart but whose righteous behavior does not spring therefrom.
9. Any supposition that externally righteous acts have any value on their own, even as conduct that prepares the way for either
a. A renewed heart (preparationism as regards justification),
b. The softening or further renewing of an already renewed heart (preparationism as regards sanctification. Note Romans 12:2-Transformation occurs through the renewing of the mind), or
c. Any other work of the Spirit.
10. Suggesting that faith is irrelevant in the accomplishment of some (or all) good works.
11. Trying to be justified by works that are created and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
12. Attempting to gain assurance of salvation solely or primarily on the basis of the sign of outward works. Bill Baldwin   http://www.monergism.com/

I always thought loving your enemy was one of the hardest things about the Christian walk. I have failed many times in this area. It is something Jesus told us to do. It's what's different about us on the narrow path and those on the broad path. When your nice to someone who is horrible to you it makes you stand out and other people scratch thier heads and say "huh". That's the effect Christians are suppose to have on the world. No this is not out of context nor is it self righteous pride.

Love really is not a determined emotion in us. We are not onslaught with the great temptation to hate. And then we struggle sooooo hard to love the other person. Thats a lot of emotional misunderstanding. But love is never really love in genuineness between two people. The only real love is expressed to us by God. So love and the struggle is not about whether we love the guy who is hard to love... but its a struggle to understand the height .. depth and length of Gods love for us. lol If there was real love in this world there would be no cries in the streets, no breaching of the walls by the socialist... no going into captivity of the state. There would be people giving of their time and gifts to the less fortunate. There would be the sharing of all good things with our church family. There would be a major focus on taking care of the widows and orphans.. of watching over the mentally and physically handicap. Businesses would focus on the worker and the holistic health and the families to better that quality of life. In other words we would place love over demands.. care over returns...etc.
Why because we really believe that God will destroy the ones who seek to do harm to their neighbor. We really would believe that God does things according to HIs ways which are anti intuitive. There would be a society where the powerful served the weak not look at them as profit margins and business machinery.. .lol lol Now you want to love? show it by who you seek to protect and who you know will destroy. You cant do this by shear will power or determining to love but only by knowing God.  Write it ... love it... and live it.

Psalm 49

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

 1 Hear this, all you peoples;
listen, all who live in this world,
2 both low and high,
   rich and poor alike:
3 My mouth will speak words of wisdom;
the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.
4 I will turn my ear to a proverb;
with the harp I will expound my riddle:

5 Why should I fear when evil days come,
   when wicked deceivers surround me—
6 those who trust in their wealth
and boast of their great riches?
7 No one can redeem the life of another
or give to God a ransom for them—
8 the ransom for a life is costly,
   no payment is ever enough—
9 so that they should live on forever
   and not see decay.
10 For all can see that the wise die,
that the foolish and the senseless also perish,
   leaving their wealth to others.
11 Their tombs will remain their houses forever,
   their dwellings for endless generations,
though they had[c] named lands after themselves.

 12 People, despite their wealth, do not endure;
they are like the beasts that perish.

13 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves,
and of their followers, who approve their sayings.[d]
14 They are like sheep and are destined to die;
   death will be their shepherd
(but the upright will prevail over them in the morning).
Their forms will decay in the grave,
   far from their princely mansions.
15 But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;
he will surely take me to himself.
16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
   when the splendor of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing with them when they die,
their splendor will not descend with them.
18 Though while they live they count themselves blessed—
and people praise you when you prosper—
19 they will join those who have gone before them,
who will never again see the light of life.

20 People who have wealth but lack understanding
are like the beasts that perish.

This is love bro... Gods order...

Do you have specific Bible story/s in mind?
Note I didn't say "verses".
Verses can have a totally different meaning when torn out of context and that is a terribly invalid way to understand God's Word.
What was the big picture...war, persecution, the welfare and safety of all the people or individual?
What was going on that such prayers were offered to G-d?

There's tons of them in the OT.  Psalm 109 comes to mind.  "But I give myself to prayer...Set a wicked man over him, and let an accuser stand at his right hand.  Let his days be few... Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg;...Let there be none to extend mercy to him," etc. Psalm 109: 4b, 6, 10a, 12, etc.

Psalm 35 another.  "Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive against me; fight against those who fight against me...Let them be like chaff before the wind and let the angel of the Lord chase them." Psalm 35: 1 & 5.

Quote
Basically you can't Biblically pray for someone’s harm and get it from G-d.
They did in the OT.

Quote
I hesitate to talk about this because in this day and age any kind of anger that a person expresses is in the category of uncontrollable.
It doesn't always have to be anger, or even usually.  It can be fear, or hurt, or just feeling trapped in an uncontrollable (you think) situation.

But we are distinguishing these prayers from personally putting someones name there. That in my opinion is different from threatening a person with violence and warning them what God says about their control...

Ive memorized all of these prayers and meditated on them for so long that its natural to visit extreme biblical hate and experience being real about the world and myself. So i believe there is a direct consequence of using these prayers that bring healing and a sense of humility about the extent of Gods anger and the awful consequences that it brings. So in distinguishing between other mens anger and Gods anger we get less threaten by those who are violent in their control. It does not make us hateful but a better defender.

This is just a guess but mabey this is be careful what you wish for you might just get it. Did you pity them when the bad things happened? Did you feel like wait I didn't mean that? Mabey God was trying to get you to feel these emotions for your enemies cause that's how your suppose to feel for them. The wicked should be pitied not hated.

I understand what you are saying. I do not want to brag. But at the same time if i was wishing out of a since of pity it is really nothing. Its just an emotional good feeling human experience. But if i was to conclude that God will order not only the judgement of the wicked and my own kindness to the poor and oppressed then i would not take pride in my pitying others. But i would boast in God actually working through me on behalf of the poor and oppressed to evidence my pity.
Pity is mean if its not cultured by an attitude of defending. The problem with a lot of religious wants is that we think just because we feel a certain way that we are better than our brother who is struggling with depression or other maladies.( the private things as opposed to the public display) In other words our pity is usually out of our own sense of justice. The feeling of pity does not graduate us to having no respecter of persons. We are not that good. I often laugh at those who are so dogmatic about being free to choose with the hallmark that they love everyone. Then i start talking about something and i get the most ferocious responses...lol

Sorry but this is what i need to say... Faith is believing in things not seen.  Now in Gods actions it is nothing like ours. We trust that God is going to bless us in a certain way.. mainly through promises. But if you think about it there really is no one who does not live by some religious standard. Everyone believes that his religious convictions are the true pathway to success. But this focus on mans goals and his success ...mans principles and implementing them is a way developed by men. God is much simpler and more successful. He creates the pathway to success, the success itself, and the beauty that comes by His success. So that God does things in a different way than man does them and He does these things so that most men cannot understand.

A lot of people look at the condition of the world and since God does not seem to respond they conclude that there is not God. This is a huge problem that is mixed with our religious feelings and wants. So God does not teach us a bunch of principles to do so that we know Gods will but He describes His ways so that we will trust that He will reorder everything in His time. Man lives by threats... God does not need to threaten but He judges quickly and surprisingly.

This is what we must do ... we must learn to think like God describes His way of doing things. Now listen every other way that is not the way God prescribes does not originate from God.It originates from the sinful heart of man. I do not care how successful it is or how beautiful it looks, its just a mans scheme for success on the backs of others. This is why there is so much trouble in the world because men order their lives by their sinful heart in the recesses of their homes. They devise schemes and dream of being great as a normal evidence of their religious convictions.

Now think of it like this. If you were God and you had a million godless schemes to unravel in protecting people from the evil dominance of other men then how would you go about changing this huge problem? You see Gods view of the things that we confront are more detailed and they go to places that we never hear about or see. God sees mens hearts and all their thoughts at one time throughout the history of the world. lol So God is on another level and this is why His way of doing things is only one way. Because we would all be completely destroyed without God intervening according to His way of responding in ordering our lives.

Have you ever prayed something awful would happen to someone, and then it happened?  I can think of two examples in my life.  I've repented over them.  But as I think of it I can think of several examples in the OT where they prayed such things, and worse.  In the NT issues seem to be confinded to something like, "While I love you even if you are my enemy, if you don't change God's going to get you!"

Thoughts?

I hesitate to talk about this because in this day and age any kind of anger that a person expresses is in the category of uncontrollable. There used to be a day in which man to man confrontation was part of the culture. But i do not think we can change Gods mind about individual people. Remember that to take vengeance into our own hands is a terrible thing. But some people stop at this and they will not admit that God promises to avenge the righteous. God says... Vengeance is mine ..I will repay.
Now this becomes the mystery. If God is the only one who can bring evil to a man or produce disaster for someone what is our responsibility? We do not consider that God does not love everyone into the kingdom through us. He never promised to make everyone without the potential for being judged. Some vessels He has chosen to bring mercy to and some to judgement.

Let me say this that if you ask the average person who believes in prayer that if they asked God for something does God change His mind in giving it to them? And they will say that God does for us according to His will even tho we ask. But when we talk about judgement we always feel responsible. But this is not the case.

The world is not our to tame. You remember the old saying about the young guy who was arrogant and pompous that he has the world by the tail. This is just a dream. God does whatever pleases Him. He controls the direction of the world.. .the people in the world and the circumstances in a persons life so that we experience reality being caught in between the forces on this earth and the activity from heaven to thwart those forces .That is what the bible describes as forces that are beyond the atomic bomb. So we are really helpless and subject to being attacked on every side and in need of constant protection by a power that is more powerful than a whole army.

One of the problems we have is the big "I". The big "I" if not tamed by God digs his own grave.. lol.So we see that God is much bigger than we could ever rap our brains around.  This is why in reducing God we actually reduce the reality of our own potential for trouble and our real need for defense. In other words if we sort of become Gods cheerleader then we do not potentially take our own vengeance. Now this is part of our own pride that we say this person or that person is what God is describing as who God will judge. The bible does not have a list of people throughout the history of the earth that we can look up and determine who He will bring to judgement. But we know that God describes the world and the people in the world who are worthy of judgement. So if God has not left it up to us to take our own vengeance then how can God express His protective love for us if it is not seen in our world?

Now we get into personal vendettas and the fighting among the Mccoys...if your were raised in the 70s families would talk about the other kids in the neighborhood in a negative way so the children in the family were warned about a certain kid who was a bad boy. This would go on and the stories would get more and more detailed about the kids problems. I mean that was a day when every kid had his own novel. lol. And sometimes this would translate into two families fighting about which kid was more of a bad influence. lol. We do this today but its more ingrained in the public communication. This is the thing. If a person believes that God really does take the responsibility for vengeance then that person will not engage in this kind of world view. Because the person trust that God is watching over him and he does not need to worry about the other guy. But at the same time God does things like he did to Ananias and Sapphira where he strikes them dead and everyone cant help but react to that judgement. Look what God did to Herod in acts as he was making a speech? He struck him down and he was eaten by worms as died. The peoples response was not "oh that is awful" but they gave glory to God.

The bible is a holistic book. It not only describes what these judgements and the blessing of God are . But it describes a pathway to success. The sticking point is not how we get along so to speak but its whether we try to control our own lives. The evil is in our wanting to be god not really in our discord. Because its not that God will love enough for the whole world to fall in line and get along. God has not chosen to pour out 30pounds of love for 29 pounds of hate. lol. Rather God wants to be seen as God by men so that men will act a certain way that is consistent with God being God. Its not that they are going to do and react perfectly but its that they will not think certain things and they will think other things. This is why we believe that the gospel is anti intuitive because we cannot explain why God judges some people and loves others. But we just allow God to determine that . So the first principle about God is that we fear Him and then we will allow Him to define what is disaster and what is His goodness.

This is why we are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Because we are in danger of what is in the world that can harm us and also not believing there is a God in heaven who is watching. We take vengeance because we do not really believe that God is watching. Men do all kinds of evil to other men because they really do not believe that God is watching. The world system eats the poor up because the powerful do not really believe that God is watching and He will judge. As i have said that Gods vengeance and our enjoyment of it is like playing the lotto. The chances of God doing something to harm someone who is using tactics to control us is very small. lol.But if we are cheer leaders for the victims then we will enjoy the fact that God is watching and He will respond at some point. This is just one aspect of this but this is not an easy subject and there are a lot more to this that needs to be talked about in a holistic way.
