Yes Max ....When we are saved we are
definitively sanctified. This means that we are made completely whole.
In other words its more than being morally rectified. Its the complete
change that results of being placed in Christ. Now we no longer are
under the law so that we experience condemnation. Rather we are made
free out of our family relationship with Christ in which He becomes our
surety of receiving our full inheritance. Before our salvation we
experience dread because we where curse with the condemning and
destructive voice of the law. But now we receive grace upon grace so
that we only experience blessing.
Some people will teach that we have already been made complete but it is good that we are shamed by the law as the motivation to grow. In other words the definition of our complete sanctification is nullified by their description of the curse being equal to the blessing. But we are taught that the curse has been lifted. And we express our anger away from ourselves by seeing Gods wrath turned away from us. If we believe in two equal lines ...ie our responsibility and Gods sovereignty then the effects of the curse ...ie guilt ,shame and fear, are given weight for the law to speak condemnation. But we are taught that just as the curse has been lifted so to the voice of the condemning law has also. Anger is only pushed away from us when we curse the destructive voice of the law. We curse the voice of condemnation. The blessing we receive is never equal to the second cause experience of the natural law. But we see the blessing motivates us to destroy the destructive voice of the law. This is the only remedy for our personal anger. |

We get confused when we apply a scripture to
ourselves because we are going through a bad experience. For some reason
when things are going good because it doesnt sting as much to think
about this we easily accept that it could be a problem but we have
examine and been obedient.
I do not understand why we use these kinds of warnings to torture ourselves when we are weak. This is a by product of living a life of grace. I know the picture is like a person who suffers from a phobia of being in small spaces. But I think the guy in this small space is enjoying the mystery of Gods love more than he is worried about losing the reputation or the goods of this world. Ive talked about this a.lot that having a sense of Gods presence is experiencing His love and kindness beyond explanation. Some people think that the height of Gods love is what the apostle is talking about. But experiencing Gods love gives us an understanding that goes beyond the limits of how things work in this world. We are experiencing the positive effects of His love and we also know how to grow down. I geuss you could say the narrow experience is our ability to push the effects of the curse down. No one likes to curse the destruction but we have no other alternative. In cursing the destruction we feel like we are being poured out. We pour out our hearts to God and we experience the unlimited effects of grace. Grace can only be enjoyed to its fullest when the gift is big and the need is great. Those who experience this kind of mystery will give their lives fully to His cause.
