Yes Max ....When we are saved we are definitively sanctified. This means that we are made completely whole. In other words its more than being morally rectified. Its the complete change that results of being placed in Christ. Now we no longer are under the law so that we experience condemnation. Rather we are made free out of our family relationship with Christ in which He becomes our surety of receiving our full inheritance. Before our salvation we experience dread because we where curse with the condemning and destructive voice of the law. But now we receive grace upon grace so that we only experience blessing.

Some people will teach that we have already been made complete but it is good that we are shamed by the law as the motivation to grow. In other words the definition of our complete sanctification is nullified by their description of the curse being equal to the blessing. But we are taught that the curse has been lifted. And we express our anger away from ourselves by seeing Gods wrath turned away from us. If we believe in two equal lines ...ie our responsibility and Gods sovereignty then the effects of the curse ...ie guilt ,shame and fear, are given weight for the law to speak condemnation. But we are taught that just as the curse has been lifted so to the voice of the condemning law has also.

Anger is only pushed away from us when we curse the destructive voice of the law. We curse the voice of condemnation. The blessing we receive is never equal to the second cause experience of the natural law. But we see the blessing motivates us to destroy the destructive voice of the law. This is the only remedy for our personal anger.

I believe the scripture is the only cause of anything that is brought into existence. I not only describes the personal cause but it pronounces the creation of something from nothing. So the perfect image of any person or thing is created by the pronouncing of what God has already declared. In my opinion we are not just becoming a better christian but our view of the created images is getting more and more clear. In this sense we are experiencing a greater vision of all things being unified in Gods purposes.
God has brought all things into existence for the purpose of bringing glory to Himself for the purpose of showing His goodness. In my opinion the Psalms are the tools by which we unify our vision with Gods absolute image.
We naturally think that our efforts are the way that we achieve unity. But the way to experience unity is coming to mystery by the vision of Gods absolute judgement at all times and in this vision we exhaust ourselves in cheering Him on.
Each day we are given an opportunity to say these Psalms to God so that our spiritual vision becomes clearer and clearer. In this sense we are moving closer and closer to the kind of praise He recieves in heaven. In moving higher and higher we experience the eternal vision of all creation. It is Gods pleasure we recieve as all physical things grow in their eternal significance.

Salvation is granted to us as a gift that takes care of all that we need in this life. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Because we believe that our walk with God is a by product of this kind of salvation trust then not even our present disobedience, sin or lack of trust disqualify us from receiving everything by grace.

I used to look at salvation as a standard that I had to be on so that I did not make God a mockery. As a young christian I had a very simple view of God and His demands. Not only did I think God was condemning me for my disobedience but I thought that God was speaking to me when it was only my own cursed emotions. I did not see that my guilt, shame , fear, and sorrow were defining everything I was experiencing. So I saw God as that incomplete image that was part of my imagination about myself. I call this as I was someone who was trying to control God.

I do not know why but I did not see the universal nature of evil and the curse. I actually thought that I could control the guilt and shame by sinning less. You know when a person is emotionally reactive they take what they want to hear about the bible and apply it as if there was no hope at all. Its easy for us to reduce the christian life to a few things we are aware of that we are not doing or a few sins that we give into and go from day to day avoiding those negative things and think that God is pleased with us.

We cannot hide what we think of when we think of God and salvation. We will describe exactly what we are going through if we are a person of many words. One of the things that I had to learn a long time ago is that if I did not do my bible home work then I was gonna be a person who talked as if God was standing in judgement on me. It took me many years to see myself through meditation.

What you believe matters more than how bad you are failing. Because what you believe is the only way in which God is gonna love you. And so if I have a doctrinal disagreement with someone then I know by experience it is gonna affect their self talk. God has made it so that the salvation doctrines are so simple that if we apply them correctly then we will experience the alignment of our souls with Gods spoken. The great thing about the message of salvation is that it is the only message that is the medicine itself. The better we are at knowing the promises and pronouncing the blessing to those who believe the promises is that we will become less dependent upon our own strength and more in need of His strength.

Some people are gonna question this. But our experience of salvation is a by product of our knowledge and ability to apply it. Without the knowledge we will speak a language that does not show God as a personal God. We cannot ignore the knowledge part and expect to apply it correctly. We cannot be doctrinally incorrect and find true rest. The experience of salvation is speaking doctrinally correct so that our lives follow what we say.

I kind of agree that there are details in every occupation that are essential to a good performance.  But when we speak the Psalms it is not a mechanical and detailed explanation of any occupation. This can be a bit confusing. Because we are trying to dissect a change in a persons disposition. These invisible creations cannot be processed in a medical book or a moral guide. This is why the word of God is not necessarily a written word. But its an ongoing pronouncement to create good from evil. And really if God designed an idea what we borrow then no word in itself or idea that we introduce into our experience is necessarily evil. There is a place for a magical spell in scripture.

The question is ... is the horse a compliance to the law and the cart the result of the compliance or is the horse Gods creation of corruption against the whole human race because of one man? You watch the films that describe the good verses evil plot. And we find there are meta physical parallels drawn about a character that has magic involved. You can design the plot around a good magic verses a bad magic. We see this in cartoon characters and syfi action movies etc. This is sort of like the ot problem of leprosy. No one at that time understood all of the details about the disease and yet God designed a sort of magical system the priest performed to cure the disease.

Some of us believe that because the OT was outdated as far as science it was a kind of barbaric political and cultural system. But we see in the OT that God ruled from His throne ...that being His creative acts beginning in the garden that provided the stability in the development of cultures, governments, and the creative order. In this creative act of God to govern all things at all times we find His mysterious actions defined in curses and blessings.

We could say that one act of man produced bad karma for the rest of mankind throughout all eternity. I mean before the fall man enjoyed unlimited fellowship with God , full control over creation, and a unity between husband and wife that had no opposition. But now there are invisible enemies and we could argue visible enemies of all the history up to this time that have impacted our quality of existence.

The Psalms to not try to explain every action of God as He governs the world. But God meets us as we experience the opposition.  This is what salvation is all about .The invisible God acting in our lives to prevent and allow. Our experience is not really in the detail of our choices but rather we find a full life when we examine all of the details it takes for God to produce in our lives something from nothing. And in this sense we are always experiencing good karma.

Meditation on scripture changes our initial thoughts as we reason about events in our lives. The purpose of these events are to challenge the way we address and petition God. We become a different person as we draw near to God through His covenant speech taught to us. With most of Gods relation speech ...that is in His spoken word is written in a way that He draws near to us. In this interaction is a statement of pronouncing a legal justification which He works through to bring all things to be unified in our experience and is our confidence to becoming bold.

In this interaction we begin to see the light of His glory. Our motives change from self protection to going beyond what we could ask or think. This experience is the mysterious emanation of Gods covenant presence. We are filled with eternal vision. We learn to speak from our own inward spiritual reality. The words are given to us to try to explain the eternal verities of His creative word that creates the experience of the future in our present experience. This way of life is to unify all of our experiences in this world as one communication of His pleasure in His creative action.

I am not a guy who will accept truth for truths sake. But I like to think about everything and compare it to scripture. But I do not like taking a scripture from one place and comparing it to another scripture in another place and not understanding the context of both of the scriptures I am comparing.

I believe that theology and doctrine is a way of thinking in life. I believe it determines the direction and the patterns of thought that create the culture we establish in our own lives. But I also believe that the general culture like the "American culture" or the judgements we make about other cultures are taught to us by repetitive speech. I believe that all speech outside of the way the bible teaches us to think is either circular or contradictory. So because I believe that the teaching determines the way we view all of the cultures and circumstances of life ...that our way of thinking is our experience of anxiety, fear, worry or depression. And so I see us living in our minds as we experience the external stimuli as our general disposition.

But in this culture we think in a two line way. Now the bible is impossible to understand because in every answer to our needs it moves us in the opposite way that we are naturally motivated. But I do not believe that simply coming to salvation changes our motives. Changing our minds involves using the scripture in a mechanical way to erase our old tendencies to trust in how we attribute a cause to our experience and seeing everything both understandable and mysterious as a creative stroke of God.

So salvation is more than a message of redemption but its the for us to think in a way that makes us most free. If we are most free then we will receive everything either good or bad in this world in its proper context as it relates to our deliverance. We seek to unify both the inward and outward experience through the creative way of thinking of Gods pronouncements.  Instead of dividing the christian life between the inward and outward, the doctrine and practice, the faith and works ... we seek to think in ways that our salvation protects us from any disunity ...any explanation that separates our actions from Gods creative purposes.  Instead we can either go positive...which is our vision of being absolutely legally pure before God or go negative which is pushing the curse down... pronouncing Gods curse on our experiencing the curse. This is the only way that we are gonna learn to think maturely.

Grace is a hard truth to learn. Some of us give up just because we give into a particular sin. Some of us give up because we do not obey something we know we should be doing. Sometimes we fail in the most obvious areas. We are more interested in protecting ourselves than facing a problem. So we conclude that until we give God these areas we are not gonna pursue Him. We think that because other people know we have such obvious failings in our lives that it would be hypocritical for us to claim Christ. Most of the time we think that Christ is holding these things against us.

We need to understand that God deals with us as broken sinners. God is the most able to work to change the biggest psychological problems we have. He is best at working with hard hearts and weak people. I learned over the years that God is most concerned with our confidence before He works to bring our lives into conformity with His will. We have it backwards. We think God is gonna change to the point were we are not happy about it. We think that God has a very stern and demanding schedule. Got to go wil l continue this.

I use to hold to too truths standing side by side ....both opposite... and deny the reality of one at the expense of the other. But I do not believe in.potential. Everything in my world is determined. The only problem I have is that God has not told me the future event. But in my mind there is nothing in this world that has real value. Why should I have the gift of faith if there is potential? It seems to me the only reason.for real events are in Gods hands and not mine.

A lot of people have their minds filled with propositions in which they measure the potential by their action. And they make the addition or subtraction based upon their performance
But in my mind the math was always meant to ad or subtract by the choice of God. And really if God cannot unravel any problem then He might as well not exist.

So my hope is that God wins in the end and Ive seen through the eyes of faith that all events were necessary for my good. The difference in my system is that the event motivates me to create an event from good or bad for my good. God has already promise absolute resolution in His covenant and not second causes.

I am a dogmatist. I will pray a Psalm 2 or 3 times until it is applied to my disposition. I pray through most of the Psalms until i feel unity with nature and with something that i am striving for. I dont mind saying that I think like David as if I had his brain and I want everyone to think like me. I like deep desires that are selfish. David had selfish desires...prayed for healing, for victory, for control over everything, and for a conversion experience.

Davids prayers bring me into a converted spirit. I become so restful and begin to hear a still small voice in my head. The Lord tells me exactly what I need to feel like everything around me is in perfect order and unity. Even my sin gives me a sense of deep need ...fills me with longings to see someone in a gifted way... where I experience people in conversation in an animated way. The Psalms expand my view of the creation so that the pleasure of the beauty of the creation is emanated to my heart. Sometimes I feel as if God is holding my hand walking with me in this world.

Sometimes I am swallowed up by the pleasure of God. The pleasure is my breathing for God as if the next breath would swallow me up in God. I get longings of heart in which I feel my spirit levitated. I feel so free that nothing that is of concern that I am going through has any weight on me. Im in Davids mind...his heart.. and its better than anything I can work up.

The subject of punishment in the context of the curses is absolute. There is either a paradigm of living in the curse or living in blessing. The question is how can punishment bless someone? And if God curses all accusers then how can a person who is blameless be punished?

God has spoken and declared that all scripture is inspire and profitable. Now some people will teach that the profitability must go through our wills in order for it to be profitable.  But God does not sit idly by on His throne and watch the events transpire on the earth. God establishes His throne like He governs from heaven. And so God establishes His throne by speaking absolutely at all times. The way that God speaks absolutely is to decree whatsoever comes to pass. God decrees whatsoever comes to pass through His laws, promises, statutes , curses and blessings. The curses is Gods way of destroying the desire of the wicked. The blessings is God establishing the way of the righteous through their desires.

How does God provide success and destruction on this earth? Through His creative word. He simply opposes the desires of the wicked and He provides all things to the righteous. The opposition is through cursing the way of the wicked. But the wicked curse the righteous and they curse God. So God must destroy their ways.  So when the Psalmist took part in the ot battles all of the christian experience was in the context of conflict. The physical battles were fought in order for God to advance the cause of the righteous. And for God to bring to an end those who oppose the righteous. Why did God fight against the wicked? Because the wicked wanted to destroy the righteous and God.

We are saying there is a subtext that we experience in every conflict in our lives. This conflict is over everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. There is no amount of discipline that is gonna bring the sides together. But God is the only one who can end a persons life and curse them to hell. There is always only one remedy and it will find its fullness in the final judgement. But the judgement in Gods view is already final. So the curses have always been final. We see that God only blesses the righteous.

The fundamental truth about us is that we are no longer punished because Christ not only took care of our sin but He also took our punishment as well. So why is there punishment in the world?  Now a lot of people have not taken the time to meditate on the very details of our relationship with God as our Father so they fail to apply the scripture correctly. You see that anytime we miss interpret scripture its kind of like prophesying an image of who God is and who we are. And so we are subject to being assaulted in a spiritual sense.

A lot of people think that we are strong and even as adults we kind of show others the way by looking in someones face and saying I tell it to your face. lol You know that everybody will die for what they believe. It doesnt matter if its wrong. And most truth is learned by it being repeated over and over again so we say there is a culture of ideas at any time in history that we must examine.

When we begin to grow in the faith it becomes a more detailed set of ideas and words that we use so that we are able to distinguish between what is a lie and what is truth. This is the way that God imparts wisdom through the gospel. He sort of applies the scripture to us through ideas and through the spirit of the word. Not only do we become more single minded in how the gospel is purified but we begin to see how important these very details are and we learn to have conviction that it must be described in this way and not in another way. We learn the the doctrines of grace are a single line that start at point a and get us to point b. There is not really a paradox. Rather there is one way of thinking and out of this is the practical result. We are what we think first ...not what we do...i mean in the way you describe doing.

But God has always looked a christian discipline as Him smiling in all situations good or bad. I mean any time we suffer in this world it is because God is punishing the sin. But God decided to punish His Son and so anytime we see God on His throne in between the cherubim it is talking not about the visible throne but it is His creative governance over all things in which we hear the sounds, see the beauty and observe His eternal love for us. God never looks at us in the sense that we stand alone. God always looks on His Son and then He acts towards us. You check out what I am saying it is a fundamental teaching.

And so God is not acting per say like its us and God but He is doing things that allow and prevent in our lives. God has a real view of who we are . He looks on us as dust. He pities us. When the bible says that God pities us its talking about the kind of covenant relationship that a Father has to his son. So God acts towards us in a covenant way. He is long suffering, gentle, kind, compassionate and eternally loving.
When we describe Gods eternal love we are describing all of His attributes that are working for us so that we experience God as our refuge.

This is Gods way of leading us in this world. The world is like a rough ocean. But God has spoken through His creative word and He has ordered every thing in our lives according to His covenant promises. We see that no matter what our experience is either good or bad ...God always provides a refuge. A place of safety in which we are saved from the punishment.

You know a lot of people say...just look at the problems you have because of your sin. They do not consider the details of Gods provision for us. They have a very shallow view of God and His family convictions. They look at discipline in the worldly sense and conclude that God is a universal eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth guy. But if you ever have memorized the wisdom books you will see a very precise way that God deals with His own. God provides everything for us. Not only does He provide for us but He allows us to experience anything and He prevents us from experiences other things. God as Father is also a judge. The judge orders all things to fall our according to his justice. But we are all justified so that we only receive gifts and blessings. God actually punishes the wicked in order to provide a blessing for us.

Now you can brag about all the practical ways that you are disciplined but it has nothing to do with real change. Its just the outworking of your view of God.

If we are made complete and given all the gifts up front then does God look at us at any time as incomplete? Ive been saying for some time that the christian life is not something we can control. When I was very young I had very little vision to see that there was so much reality that I did not understand ...because my vision was so small I had a few things that I could control. But the christian is a man who lives in a reality where there is this eternal war between good and evil. Behind the advancement of this war is God and Satan. And so we live in a world where we do not have the strength to control the outcome. Christ told Peter that Satan wanted to sift Him like wheat...that being Satan wanted to take Peter to eternal punishment but Christ power to pronounce Peters innocence preserved Peters life.

What is the standard of living in this mystery? It is too great for us to accomplish on our own because the adversity that we experience is universal and spiritual. The whole world has fallen into corruption and rebellion. We are only standing because God has opposed the world. You see the standard of conduct is to do unto others as you would have them do to you. Who wants other people to treat them with contempt or prophesy evil upon them? I do not believe that morals are measured by how many actions we do for our control. But we are caught in between and enemy that is trying to redefine who we are and using other people to accomplish his evil intents. Our problems begin in the meta physical world. So how do we control what God says about us if there is a conspiracy against Christ? Christ says if they have done it to me they will do it to you.

This is what is so neat about Gods declarations of us. His declarations are absolute. We are either cursed or blessed. There is no other way to  go. Either we are on the road to hell or we are in Gods hands. Every thing about what we are is absolute already before we become. We are looked on as absolutely safe because the curse no longer applies to those who are in Christ. We are Gods absolute friends. God doesnt say that because we fail or sin that we change our absolute image of how He views us. How many people pray as if they are totally accepted? God has done to us what He would want done to His Son.

This is why in the Psalms Christ prays in the world of absolutes. He prays against one enemy, one way and having absolute ability to pronounce curses and blessings at all times in all situations. Christ ruled because He never had someone do something that He did not allow or decide. And we are in Christ who obtained ruler-ship of everything. We have His absolute pronouncements that give us a vision of how He images us. Because we pronounce blessings and cursing we have ruler ship of all that Christ has obtained. In this sense the events of the world are only declared good if they bless us. The standard is that those who know Him will only rejoice and be glad in Him ...may they always say the Lord be exalted through the well being of His servants. Gods declaration is that He only prophecies good for us because His grace always wins.

ML..Im simply offering another view of this sovereign grace that has absolute power to turn the world upside down. And this is what we have a hard time understanding. We want God to exert enough force to keep us from taking advantage of the free gifts. But here is something to think about. Gods initial gift of salvation put us into perfect order and total acceptability before we began our new life.

Not only did He front load gifts that we could never imagine but He gave us certain boundaries to prevent us from falling too far from His grace. He gave us an ability to feel acceptable in His family but made it impossible for us to claim that what we do is apart from His gift of grace. Now this is our problem because we are totally safe and secure with all the ability to trust God but we still have the temptation to make it harder than it really is. Because God does things that are backwards. He makes our lives more valuable by increasing His gifts so that we are exalted by what He does to us rather than how we look to others of what we have done.

A lot of people say that God gives everything we need at the start but we are responsible to act with what He has given us. But God not only gave us the ability to accomplish all that we do but He provided the  success so that it is impossible that we would not at some point be so filled with the value of the gift that it would be equal to the power of acting. Because God pre pronounced our perfect image that is the engine that makes us different every day.

That was very inspiring TB... the struggle with sin is real and no amount of obedience will make it less of a struggle. I think its easy for us in this day and age to believe that the christian life has to be organized with certain steps in order for us to receive the benefits. I see this mixture in reformed circles who want to speak in a way in which they want to play both sides of the christian experience. And since we all agree more or less that God is sovereign and man is responsible then we can all kind of meet in the middle.

And we know by the scripture that God is to great for us to understand. And so in order for us to all be unified we all can agree that we always come to the reality that we are not God. So God is always the person who makes sure that we are playing both sides ...our side and His. So we all agree that it doesnt matter how we feel but we know that all of our struggles bring us to the realization that we are not God and He is doing something in our lives that we do not understand. It doesnt matter how we suffer it only matters that we agree if we are struggling that its our fault not Gods. Yes we do not all agree on the details of how much God is sovereign but we agree that in the end it comes down to our holding up our side. Because we feel a sense of togetherness by blaming ourselves and certainly not blaming God for our struggle.

This to me is mindless hog wash. What if I told you that God is first and foremost interested in how you feel about yourself before you decide how He is suppose to act to make you feel good? I mean in order for you to change your feelings do you need to act in a certain way or for God to act toward you in a certain way? What if God was waiting to agree with you about what you thought you needed to feel better without demanding any action on your part? What if God was waiting for you to simply ask in the right way to make you feel better?

What if God was totally different than anyone describes Him to be? What if God was waiting for you to say that you were the only one who understands Him? What if He was waiting for you to argue that you were the only one who deserved His special touch? Why is it that we think that in order for us to fear God correctly that we cannot present our own view of what we think needs to be done? We must take a vote and listen to other more mature men so that we can understand how God would act toward us in a certain situation?

Two line is hogwash...God is focused on each individual as if there were no other person that existed!

We get confused when we apply a scripture to ourselves because we are going through a bad experience. For some reason when things are going good because it doesnt sting as much to think about this we easily accept that it could be a problem but we have examine and been obedient.
I do not understand why we use these kinds of warnings to torture ourselves when we are weak. This is a by product of living a life of grace. I know the picture is like a person who suffers from a phobia of being in small spaces. But I think the guy in this small space is enjoying the mystery of Gods love more than he is worried about losing the reputation or the goods of this world.
Ive talked about this a.lot that having a sense of Gods presence is experiencing His love and kindness beyond explanation. Some people think that the height of Gods love is what the apostle is talking about. But experiencing Gods love gives us an understanding that goes beyond the limits of how things work in this world.
We are experiencing the positive effects of His love and we also know how to grow down. I geuss you could say the narrow experience is our ability to push the effects of the curse down. No one likes to curse the destruction but we have no other alternative. In cursing the destruction we feel like we are being poured out. We pour out our hearts to God and we experience the unlimited effects of grace. Grace can only be enjoyed to its fullest when the gift is big and the need is great. Those who experience this kind of mystery will give their lives fully to His cause.

Brother I get what you are saying and I would never ask God for anything that is against His word but at the same time He encourages us to ask for anything and if it is done in faith He will give it. Is God only concerned for us asking for other people or can we present our personal request to Him?

Does He limit the asking to things that are religious or will He give is victory over in money, our exercising control over any event so that our faith is expanded? Of course since Hes concern goes to providing food for the birds. Even though we look at God by our doctrine the expression is His exercise of His kindness, faithfulness, longsuffering and gentileness. How can we put the working of these attributes in our own little box? Is God under some kind of cultural rules or does He distinguish between words of our own prejudice with His justice and equity?

If salvation is personal then He has gifted us with His desires and there is no evil in wanting our needs to be met since He made us to express our needs through God like desires. God is king of the earth and He has made us like Himself to rule over kingdoms. Our salvation is determined by our overcoming all opposition.

Gods love for us is as passionate as He has provided us with all that Christ has obtained. This means that all the reasons that God loves us is to gift us with everything. Just think about the first man that God created everything and then pronounced it good . Then He gave man rule over His creation for mans enjoyment. Gods love is proved by giving us a list of things that He made as gifts to be enjoyed. It is a curse for anyone to deny mans authority and freedom to deny other people their God given rights to use His gifts. This is why each man has absolute authority in his own purpose. We call this absolute cursing the destruction. It is the real self image coming to grips with his position before God. God is more than able to meet every need as if each man used all that God has gifted that man as if he were the only one who used these gifts. What is our responsibility? Its to enjoy Gods gifts to the highest experience of His glory! We fail when we take the liberty that God has provided and call it evil. Gods love for us is not emotional but is accounted in detail to prove that He is most free and that makes us free.

Our trouble as it relates to feelings is that they follow our minds view of what is going on in the world and ourselves. Our problem is that we have the temptation to see things in a one dimensional reality. Our private reasoning focuses on the events and the people involved. Its our view of the world that creates the kind of color in the picture as the experience that we communicate in the picture.

This is so hard for us to change. The picture that we draw in our minds eye is a as attractive and as multi dimensional as we understand the details of our image and the communication of all the people involved. We are always thinking that the picture is simply a drawing of what we are viewing. But there is another dimension that determines the level of character in the picture. Feelings are as important in our experience as our intellectual understanding.

We are made by God to experience the world in the unity of being as God created what we are viewing. There is an invisible communication in the creation of what we are viewing. The physical attributes of an object and the true view of that object is as glorious as we experience Gods attributes as an eternal view that heightened our emotions as we view the light of Gods glory in our view. Our problem is that we remember an event without the eternal timeless experience of that event. And the picture we have in our minds eye is part of the reason we view history in a disconnected way. We should be animated through Gods emanation in the creation of all things and the light that opens up the glory in the past event. Our true experience should be timeless.....producing an overflowing of emotion in our our remembrance. This should give us a power to overcome all obstacles.

In Pslams 1 which gives us the theme of the whole book in which we enjoy a relationship with God through representation we find there are two pronouncements. One there is a pronounced blessing on those who meditate on this book and a pronounced cursing on those who are wicked.
The comparison of the righteous is to a tree. This representation is a relationship with God through recreation. The cause of the existence of anything is the word of God. Just as the tree grows through its being sustained by the stream...that being the water provides the creation of the blessing of new life so the word which is the entire pronouncement of deliverance is the way God communicates the blessing. He recreates through His word.
The righteous order their thoughts by the word of God as they use these creative petitions and pronouncements as the tool for their success. Because they speak before God in a correct way they create blessing. But the wicked do not approach God with the words that are pleasing to God and so they create destruction. God must destroy their destructive schemes. He does this by bringing to an end all that they desire. But the righteous speak from a renewed desire. God fulfills their desire.

Yes...ive lived before in my life prior to these communicative techniques that are part of this relational interaction with God about the creation of all of these different species and things to work in unity... i used to live with this rationality that things that already have happened in my life are proof that God is God. I never understood that I could reason that those things that already happened are reasons for me to change them.

A lot of people live on the level that all prior action proves that God exist ...that the reality of things proves Gods sovereign actions over all things. Thats where they stop. To me this is a rather morbid view of God. I see beyond the things brought into existence as a communication of some kind of creation that is both understandable and not understandable.

I mean if we could never participate in the actions of God other than pointing to our own actions on the physical level then we would be disconnected from Gods communication of those actions. So I can say that the past events are proof that God is in control so that I can participate in the recreation of these events in the future. How can anyone believe that the events that are already in time are proof of someones particular choice? Obviously there are many reasons for events to happen beyond one persons choice.

These reasons can only be explained by God. But how can we know God if He is only trusted because He said something in the past and is not going to the share reasons with us in the present? How can we know God if there is no ongoing communication other then what has already happened?

God obviously communicates on a level that is universal and at the same time focuses on the smallest particle. If God creates events it is not just unexplainable. Other wise we could never know God because He would be silent. But God makes us aware of His re-creative words by our own self talk. The scriptures say that God searches our hearts. This means that God works in our faculties to bring everything to be united for His purpose and glory.

Ive thought about this and its amazing that there are things that we cannot understand because we do not know about them and we cannot see them but we can recreate them through communicating with God. God has given us a language ...a kind of absolute sense of our real self in which those things that have already happened motivate us recreate them according to His view of unity. This means that God speaks to us from our view of what we need in a way that it is better than what we wanted. Our presence in creation is limited to time and space but Gods communication according to our limited view is eternally satisfying our desires by answering them as we experience eternity in our hearts. This is the focus ...its how we communicate with God to recreate what has already come into existence.

I agree ml... how do we explain two desires that are unified? There is no limit to mans desire. So even if we understood by experience and years of living together we still understand very little about that union. The question is can we live in mystery and still know the exact heart beat of the relationship? The answer comes in the mystery of experiencing freedom that moves us to go beyond our own little world to create the world of freedom and rest as the basis of the growth in the relationship.

Are we really searching for another soul to only limit our success by how much we know of that person? Or is there a meta physical structure ...a kind of body form of the true person that forms that person in which we cannot understand? There are spirits of all kinds in this world.. the unknowable change through a direct action from God? I believe we live on the level that is mysterious....were we are able to be molded in the meta physical....were we step back and watch God work...allowing for something that we cannot produce..something that goes beyond our box of what its suppose to be.

There are two distinct ways of communicating. I dont even think its taught in a way where you are commanded to speak in the biblical way and you do it. But the bible teaches that we are unified because the whole counsel of God is our defense. And so instead of it being as the world says that we are to open all of our troubles to man... we are to take them to God. The bible teaches that desires are purified by the gospel which addresses the most complicated thinking and also goes to the most simple and single way of knowing a pure desire.

We must build a protective shell around our hearts. We do this by thinking deeply about the gospel. We learn the details of the gospel so that we may eliminate all of the false words that lead us away from the simplicity that is found in Christ. The whole counsel method is to argue for simplicity by pure desire. We learn the pure desire by applying the details of the gospel.  In applying the details we narrow the desire down to one thing. We use the details to bring us to the simplicity of the desire. The details of the gospel lead us to the free expression of gospel desire.

We apply the hate in the right way. We hate false images. This is guarding our hearts. We live in the experience of our own minds. We must begin to think correctly within our own world. We must have a big inner world and a small outer world so to speak. The more pure our desire is the more we will push away the curse that comes mainly from the cursed speech of the world. When we hate correctly we will hate every false way of communicating in a silent war of cursing. This is our protective shell.

Even if everyone should depart from the gospel way we will meditate of the correct way of thinking and kill the cursed thing. We will more and more learn how to love the object which is the most free expression of our desire.

This book supports my meditation on desire. True pure desire springs from a person receiving a gift and giving it to others. This is why a true pure desire is without blame, fear, anxiety and the expression of human sorrow. The focus then is how godly desire translates into sexual desire. Youve got to understand that in this culture the physical beauty was secondary to the way of expressing desire correctly.

There is no negative accusations against each other. Although the frustrated desire is expressed in sexual frustration. There is a difference between saying something that is offensive and expressing something that is going on inside of us. The christian because he views everything from a reception of grace has the ability to control himself in distinguishing what he views about his environment as it relates to God and man.

Its interesting that we do not see him searching for God in this Song. But we see the two partners searching for each other. Is God put out of the picture in place of the sexual attraction? No God is exalted because the life is expressed with a perfect expression of the sexual desire. The point being that there is a difference between the person wanting the other partner to meet a need that only God can fulfill and expressing sexual frustration that will ultimately lead to the sexual union. All of the words are expressed in how the couple has been separated in time and space. Not really separated as to images who do not know who they are and are trying to find out by the other person.

How can two sinners eliminate all of the negative talk and speak in a way that leads to sexual union? This is an art of understanding desire and fulfillment that is discussed in these other wisdom books. Because to understand true desire is to be most free to express that desire. We see in prior teaching that God is the only one who can take the anger and replace it with the pure desire for the object.

There is a meta physical transubstantiation that the fire or anger of God produces. Every false view of self is an expression of anger toward God. So at the core of all anxiety and sorrow is miss understood anger. Any false view of self is to make oneself a god. This is to declare that God is not God. So we can say that any thought or word spoken is the proof of an image that we are producing. We live in the reality of our own minds where we are touched by the curse.

We entertain images that create a way of thinking. Our anger is directed inward as we live with an image that is equal with God. There are only two languages that express the way the world is. There is the language of the curse and the language of the gospel or blessing. We turn anger inward as we hold onto idols.

An Idol is more than a physical image. It could be expressed through ideas. We could turn anger inward through a false doctrinal belief. Anger is the soil for holding onto things in this world so that how we value it is expressed with self protective emotions. Worry, anxiety, fear, and sorrow. Living with false images is how we destroy ourselves through taking what belongs to God upon our own shoulders. If we are to change it must be through believing what God says about us so that our minds are transformed to think the opposite of our natural way of thinking. How do we change the pattern of self hatred?

We do this by cheering Gods pronouncements ...His righteous declaration...which is a true experience of good anger. God has given us a new image through making our souls with a new soil. He implants a new life in us. This new life is perfect. The new life is like a soil of Gods communication. We have a relationship with God through spoken word. All of Gods creation comes into existence by His word. All of Gods recreation comes into existence by His word. The way that God causes us to grow is by proclaiming what is just and right about us.

Gods anger is the fertilizer that produces the fire in our souls. It is His proof that He loves us by experimentally going through what we are going through but with a perfect view of every event. Gods anger burns up our anger. We experience freedom as we see Gods anger turned away from us through His perfect proclamation that is a result of His work done on our behalf. We experience the fire of Gods anger as we face our own anger ...becoming transparent before God and experience the heat of Gods anger turned away from us. We cheer God on by His final pronouncement.

Gods view of the world is fully unified at all times. There is no purpose that God is not working for His own good. Our experience in our souls is going through highs and lows of life. God has already worked to produce good through our low experiences and is blessing us beyond what we could ask or think through our high experiences. This is why the psalmist was aware of Gods high praise because the psalmist wanted to respond to God when God was victorious. The psalmist was trying to go as high as he could in his experience.

When we experience lows it is not Gods fire that produces the change but its Gods hot anger directed away from us that produces the fertile soil for gospel communication. We can go positive or we can go negative. We can push the curse down by feeling the anger of God turned away from us because we are experiencing it through our own anger. In this way the fire brings all the value to the top ...our anger is burned up and Gods love overflows.

Yes I believe in choices but i want to choose what He wants me to choose. At the same time i do not see myself as having two kinds of ways to go. One are my choices and the other is trusting in Gods sovereignty. But I see Gods sovereignty as providing success for all of my choices because there are two problems with sinners choosing something. One is that the choice comes from a sinful and corrupt desire.

We can look at all things that exist both physical and meta physical as Gods moral pronouncements. If something exist the purpose is Gods and so everything that comes into existence is through His mouth. So we can say that things are not really mechanically produced or moved along but there is a moral communication that proves God is good.

But God decides both good and evil. He communicates through both existences. We experience trouble because we do not push it away with the proper communication. There is a reason for everything because God would not be God if there was something that did not exist for His ultimate purpose. There is a sense in which the corruption of our desires is not ours but its the sin that dwells in us. So i believe the answer is found in the pronouncement of good and evil and not really focused on our weakness.

In some sense the war is always over how the intention is understood. We never see things in this world in pure light. But we struggle with survival as a deep need that we are right by Gods pronouncements. I mean to hate oneself is to deny there is good in Gods gifts given to us for His purpose. The pronouncements prove that we are right by God upholding His name through our lives. This I believe is that our desires are Gods desires.

In a way our human desires are good in this way. We always desire something good or bad because we want to survive. God has given us a way to endure things that are too strong for us in whatever standard of growth we are at. This is what the Psalmist was saying in his struggle with sin. That the psalmist sins were so many that he had no strength. And yet his desire to curse accusers was always in this paradigm of a Fathers concern. I guess you could say that even tho the desire was not transparent at the time , it was acceptable because it was foreseen in Gods purpose to become transparent.

God is always good , faithful , kind and loving. He alone deserves all the praise.  The question from our side is how can God love someone who falls short of His standard at all times and is to weak to praise God and enjoy God as He is pleased to bring all things into existence according to His standard of goodness and pleasure? How can God endure a sinner in His presence? Let alone a sinner who is distant but just think about a sinner who comes into His presence to dare receive something that the sinner does not deserve.

And yet we stand before God and deserve nothing. But He has promised that He will listen to us as a Father listens to his child. God looks on us as dust. How can God accept and pursue sinners who are at the worse? Because God has abundant pardon and forgiveness. He has unfailing love and gives full acceptance. Because He has covenanted with His people to treat them as His own He has proved it by doing the work necessary for sinners to be accepted in His presence. He has not only intended to provide a remedy but He has desired that we sinners receive something that is far greater than we could ever imagine! You see God has not only set the highest standard of rewards but He has desired for us to be treated with His way of rewarding Himself. He has proven it by swearing to His own hurt if He does not uphold His side of the promises.

This is why we are free as human beings to express our desires before God in a way that we experience God lowering Himself to our level and treating us as equal in a way that He goes through what we are going through. God has not only experienced our troubles but He has promised to be our ambassador who forgets our weakness and sins and presents us before the world as spotless...having full acceptance. We have a God who provides all that we need, heals all our diseases, upholds and carries us in out worse struggles , who has made the standard so low that He sees us to weak to unburden our sins that are piled up on our heads but in Gods way of keeping us according to His own name He has provided a greater mercy for greater and more sins. We have full freedom to come before God as we are and be as transparent as we possibly can but feel the acceptance as if we never sinned. This is the standard of treatment that we receive in our relationship with God.
