God has created us for a purpose. He created each one of us with attributes both physical , emotional, and spiritual that are distinct from any other person. Our survival is depended upon our understanding these distinct characteristics. The more we understand ourselves that more we will understand the individual purpose that God created us for.

When we understand ourselves the more value we create that separates us from the other species of animals and plants that God created. God has created all things by His spoken word. He has ordered all things in His eternal counsel from before time began. God sees everything that He has ordered in perfect unity. Every thing has a value according to the returns God gets from the working of all things. We are created in the likeness of God. When we understand our individual purpose then we experience the unity of all things because we understand our purpose that fits together with everything around us that He has created.

Because of sin we experience a disconnection from everything that God has created. When we experience this disconnection we do not understand who we are and what our purpose is. This is the result of sin. Our natural experience on this earth has been cursed. With the experience of the curse comes a desperate attempt for us to fit in to Gods order.

The way that God meets us where we are is that He gives us His words so that we can align ourselves with His creation. He has given us His word in spoken form. In His word He commands us but He has also given it so that we command ourselves and God. Now this is really important. God has made all things to work together in perfect unity not only in the physical sense...ie like parts on a machine but also in a meta physical sense. The meta physical sense is Gods perfect description in words in describing everything and how it fits together. The word of God is given to us to reorder everything by Gods meta physical description.

But Gods descriptive language is both revealed and mysterious. There is not enough paper in the world to write down Gods total description of everything that exist from the beginning of time to the end. It is too much for us to handle. So God has given us a language in which we speak His word and it is a kind of parenthesis of His mysterious description. He basically simplifies His play book so that we can participate in His creating.  In this sense God lowers Himself to our level so that we can talk in this face to face way.
