Our Fathers pronouncing of blessing upon us.
Psalms 111
1 Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy.
8 They are steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever-- holy and awesome is his name.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

This Psalm is a description of Gods covenant of redemption that He made with Israel. If you study this Psalm you will find that God is speaking as a father to a child and explaining how good it is to be a part of this family. God is describing His desire for us as He has designed our experience in this world as we experience salvation.

This Psalm is a prophetic message from a king to his subjects that explains the purpose of God saving us .As we meditate on this Psalm it is like a future prediction that we receive that overcomes all the bad prophecies that we hear from the world. This Psalm is suppose to create a disposition of confidence as we meditate on it because we receive it as if God our Father was placing His hands on our head and pronouncing a blessing on us.

God has made a covenant of redemption with us in which He has provided everything for us. Not only has He provided these promises but in this Psalm He is the one who works on our behalf. In this promise He only  prophesies good to us.

God has created everything by the word of His mouth. God has designed everything through His knowledge and has ordered it by speaking it into existence as if He was describing all the parts of the design functioning in a holistic way. The Psalmist is describing how God produced the success for His covenant people within he Nation of Israel.

Even tho Israel faced opposition to Gods design for their success ,He describes how He budgeted for them in facing this opposition. Not only did God personally work for all their blessing but He acted alone not only to prevent the nations from being success but He took from the nations and gave it to His people. This is a Psalm that describes our lives in total as God works His redemptive plan. It is wise to receive this blessing as we go about our daily lives. We meditate on it in order to be fully assured that we will be delivered unto the end.
