  Psalm 35
26 May all who gloat over my distress be put to shame and confusion; may all who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and disgrace.
27 May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, "The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant."
28 My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long.

Christian vindication -143:
1 O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.

The bible only blesses saving authority. When the bible teaches about salvation and deliverance it is always in this context of a new desire. But this desire is not just a religious desire. It is a universal desire to support life and healing. If the Psalmist separated the political desires from our religious saving desires then all of the words used in the context of war - our life and death would be taught in each context...the political context and the spiritual context. But we cannot separate these to different  occupations. To be delivered in the saving sense is to overcome all opposition. There is no two equal sides that are contradictory that are taught in the bible. Everything that we go through in this life is toward our being delivered spiritually.
Why is there such a hard line on this principle? Because there are only two options in this life. We either have eternal life or we are cursed with eternal death. So salvation is synonymous with living in a blessed society. And eternal death is being cursed with living in a threatening society that is destructive, This is exactly how the Psalmist uses the saving words here to include our experiencing abuse. To side with someone who is abusive is to be abusive. It is the same thing as a wicked man who curses those he opposes. Cursing is equal to anything that is destructive.

Im not talking about the curses contained in the law of God but the curses of the wicked.
