The Bible teaches that God created the earth to show He that could prove Himself faithful, kind, long suffering, gentle, and just. He gave man rule over His creation but He put boundaries up so that man could not rule absolutely. In the counsel of God, He purposed to create the earth to show that His will could not be thwarted in order to unify all things so that He alone could get the glory. God's governmental authority over the earth was exercised in His written covenants that He made with man. These covenants are irrevocable.

Because God made man a moral agent, He gave man a compass so that every man was free to create his own government. Each man is fulfilled as he subdues the earth. When God made man with a moral compass , He gave man the ability to design his own government so that man could rule over Gods creation. From the beginning of time God has saved His people in order to show His covenant faithfulness by putting His kingdom in His elect. This kingdom is Gods gift to His people to deliver them from all opposition and bring them safely to heaven. When God places His kingdom in His people , He frees them from all opposing powers.

Over an over again the Bible warns us about putting our trust in men. But if you study the bibles usage of the word "men" you will find it is in this context of government. In this warning the bible is going beyond the power of one man to include the system of man. The system of man is in conflict with the government of God even tho God establishes human government. So the purpose of God establishing human government is to show that He alone is just, faithful, holy and sovereign by His judgements that God decrees upon all human governments.

When the bible describes these different cultures and occupations of men it is in the context of Gods view and not our view. We are looking up to the top but God is looking down over the highest authority. Our covenants that we make in Gods view are untrustworthy. But Gods covenants that He makes with us overrule all powers and are a display of His attributes that we praise Him for with the back drop of human governments failures.

Salvation is in God alone who delivers from every evil scheme. When we are saved we enter into Gods kingdom which is His recreation of all things. We are given a complete salvation when we are born again. "Old things are passed away...behold all things have become new." When we are born again everything that we are and have is a gift to us from God. God establishes His kingdom success through us. The reason that we cannot fail is because God has not only gifted us with this new kingdom but He has gone out before us and done the work in order to establish this kingdom by taking ownership and ruling all things. He has put all of our corruption and sin behind us because Christ has established our completed identity which has already been given to us. We cannot fail because we are in Christ. This is what the bible describes as freedom.
