16 9 You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not bow down to an alien god. 10 I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. The Psalmist is teaching that God would satisfy us by the law, covenants, curses,statutesdecrees and promises. He is comparing the language of the foreign gods with Gods prophetic word. He is comparing to having a belly full of the finest foods. You have made known to me the path of life;you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. God fills us and our hearts are enlarged. We experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. We get filled in pronouncing and want to be filled again. We want more of the Spirit.Acts 10 39"We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem.They killed him by hanging him on a tree, 41He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen--by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the deadbecause God was with him." Peter is teaching that Christ baptized the saints with this power that accompanied His miracles. So He did the miracles by the power of God the Holy Spirit. The baptism was an anointing of the Holy Spirit. This anointing was with Christ.Acts 10 37You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached-- 38how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil,Over the years ive learned through pronouncing that the angels can be personal messengers who protect the saints. John in Rev. calls this a seal from God. It is experiential. We feel empowered by the Spirit. We know its not our power. Rev 7 2Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God.He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:4Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all thetribes of Israel. God has a seal of protection from harm. John is saying that the some saints have a seal of protection in this age to accomplish Gods work. We can be baptized by the Spirit with this seal many times.
