The Psalmist is asking God why he is being treated like the wicked who must endure Gods silence.44 24 Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? Instead of cursing in the Psalms people use pain to control others.God controls pain. But we are not under the curse. The wish of the death of painis the only way that we can escape the use of pain. Pain produces weakness in opposition to the corruption. Pain forces people make decisions they do not desire. Every person has an experience of the power of pain and uses it to control others.
