A wise man knows the difference between fools gold and real value. Anyone who claims to be righteous becomes a suspect of a crime in Gods universe. Its just logical.God knows us on the level that we would be dissipated in a moment if He allow us to fully know our sinfulness and carry its weight.

God cannot save us by our decision. He must call us and regenerate give us faith in order for us to believe. But our believing falls short of Christ displaying perfect dependence upon the Father. If we point to our decision we are competing with Christ. The gospel is logical

If we could claim that we are accepted because God favors us then we would judge others based upon our view of the law. That is why we make our own gods.Its logical that God does not have favorites when He judges by His law. He cannot lower the standard in order to be loving or accepting. He cannot love an object that does not measure up to His standard. There is no person on this earth who claim Gods love without satisfying lawIts just logical to say that we cannot even endure one second in this universe that is occupied by God in every space. God could not allow a blemished being to live in any space. We are all alive by Gods grace.If you want to be accepted as holy then you must figure out a way to avoid the judgement of death and satisfy the law on Gods eternal standard. If you want to be genuine in the world then you must judge everyone the way you think about being accepted.If God is holy and sanctifies sinners who prove their salvation by their intrinsic works then His holiness is arbitrary and not lawful. If God is arbitrary then he can change and His word would not be final.God cannot accept any thing that has the smallest blemish. He is pure light. Not a speck of darkness.18 25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, We were definitively sanctified when we are saved. We are made completely holy." The process of salvation is our being faithful as a mirror of Gods faithfulness. If the Psalmistteaching that God is faithful to us because we are faithful then God would need to lower the standard of His law. But God is faithful to us because Christ satisfied the law and we are seen in Christ.
