Ps 28 2 Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts. The Psalmist teaches that praise, confession, petition, and weakness are orthodox in the context of the law, covenants, curses, statutes promises and decrees. This is why it is more important for us to know our condition that it is to be obsessed with our act of confession. There are as many types of confessions in the Psalms as the number of the axioms. God focuses on the correct communication so that we are genuine in whatever we are struggling with. God does not want a mechanical approach. The Pharisees neglected the holistic use of the axioms. They just repeated mechanical prayers. But the axioms create the interaction between God and us. This is why the Psalmist uses the curses in the confessions.Repay them for their deeds ....bring back upon them what they deserve. We must build one precept upon another.
