Ps 2 8Ask of me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9You will rule them with an iron scepter
you will dash them to pieces like pottery."

The Psalmist is teaching that God created all things by speaking them into existence. Because God owns every thing then He has the lawful right to bless His elect with an inheritance. God created the earth and gave man the blessing of ruling over it. The purpose of God in establishing order through free moral agents was to bring pleasure and glory to Himself. Because no man was present when God created all things then he must rule in complete dependence upon God. The Psalms teach that man can only rule through the revealed word of God. They are written in the kings pronouncements of the law, covenants, curses, statutes, decrees and promises. Christ was the only man who fulfilled the axioms. Christ unified all of creation in pronouncing cursing and blessing in order to destroy destruction and reestablish the creation covenant with His elect. Everything that we are and possess is gifted to us by God. In being identified with Christ we now rule the world through the axioms.  "Blessed are all who take refuge in him."

God created all things according to the axioms. Gods supreme power is displayed in creating every man as the governor over his own kingdom. He has given His elect the axioms in order to destroy all opposition. God is able to uphold the self interest of every man in order to establish the unity of creation. God has given man control over all opposition through the pronouncements of blessing and cursing. The axioms unite Gods government with mans self governing control. God created man as a display of His glory.  God unites His glory with mans glory over creation in pronouncing the axioms. God established government over creation by revealing His control over all things through the axioms. The Psalms teach that man mirrors Gods control in speaking the axioms. If man is completely dependent upon God then government must be expressed through total ability that is established out of total inability or man has the self power to be his own god.
