Ps 29 1Ascribe to the LORD , O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness."

The Psalmist teaches that holiness is more than God exercising His moral goodness. But holiness is Gods work in creating , ordering and sustaining all things. God is holy because all of His work is complete and holistic. God acts in nature in order to show forth His works in turning the natural disasters in our lives into blessing. You see God does not act because He has control over the weather but He acts because He is the governor over all things.  I have spoken this Psalm through 5 hurricanes and 3 ice storms in my life.

I memorized  this Psalm about a year before Andrew came through Miami. Throughout the year before the storm I had a lot of questions. First most of the Psalms are written to explain Gods authority through the King; But one day I was meditating through the Psalms and the hurricane had made a sharp turn toward south dade. It did not move from its westerly course.  I found myself in a two story house north of my place of residence. Andrew was exactly what I needed for my meditation in this Psalm as the storm passed over us. And it really wasnt experience that I remember.But it was the foundation that was laid to bless my family in order to provide enough money so that we could minister in our next location. Andrew was my first angel.

This is what the Psalmist is teaching. That God turns the world upside down because He is concerned for the insignificant family.  When God speaks we cry glory. I cannot take credit for the years of ministry. The storm was brought into our lives to change our lives and bless our family.  The next 4 hurricanes were angels too.
