Ps 5 3In the morning, O LORD , you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation."

When corruption entered the world God responded by preventing man from returning to the creation covenant. The covenant of blessing was replaced by the pronouncement of cursing.  In the creation covenant God had implanted His law in man so that he ruled without opposition. The Psalmist describes this as walking down the straight path or the path that was made smooth. But when man sinned he was put on the path to destruction or eternal punishment. So God had to restore man to the original creation covenant by becoming a Man and fulfilling the requirements of the original covenant.

What were the requirements of the creation covenant? Man had to fulfill the law of God, avoid the curse of the law, establish the decrees of God as man ruled the creation in speaking Gods word, establish the pillars of the law by consistent obedience looking forward to the promised reward for fulling his obligations and receive eternal life. When Christ fulfilled the covenant as the substitute for His elect, He restored mans ruling powers in walking down the original pre fall path. We are taught that Gods curse prevented man from establishing his own righteousness and at the same time giving His elect the powers to destroy all opposition. As God established order of creation through pronouncing the law, covenants, curses, statutes, decrees and promises , He has given His elect the power to destroy all opposition by the legal justification of Christ satisfaction of the law. The path of righteousness is now justifying our causes by pronouncing the law, covenants, curses, statutes, decrees and promises.

God created all things in order to establish His government. The 6 axioms are set in order as the Psalmist approaches God in prayer." I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." Just as God created the original pre fall kingdom of man in the garden so He has reestablished mans post fall governing authority over the creation in the pronouncements of the a king. The Psalmist overcomes all opposition by setting his prayers in order and waiting in expectation. 6You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors.He pronounces the law in defense of Christ justification applied to the saints. 7But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple." As he pronounces the legal justification of his imputed righteousness, he prays for God to establish the pillars of Gods government.The Psalmist expresses no confidence in his own defense but expresses the statutes as Gods government established in the pronouncing of the law.  8Lead me, O LORD , in your righteousness because of my enemies- make straight your way before me."( make straight- justify my cause by the pronouncement of the law.) After pronouncing the law the Psalmist shows no confidence in taking vengeance upon the law breakers. He pronounces the curse.10 Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you."(banish..judging the covenant breakers by casting them out of the original garden reestablished in the kingdom of Christ.)

The Psalmist finished the order of His pray by pronouncing a promise and a decree. God promises  to shield us by the justification in pronouncing the law that was fulfilled in Christ. 11b"Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you." Then the Psalmist pronounces a decree as a king who is sovereignly enacting the judgement that is required by the law.  12  For surely, O LORD , you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. So we see that the Psalmist speaks the axioms in order to view all events of life through the axioms so that he can recreate the kingdom of God.
