Libertarian free will

This is what is so funny about people who preach that we have a libertarian free will. And it really works out into two line theology. We throw in a little of Gods prodding with a purely balanced free will and we get obedience. I come along and say the bible teaches that we are unable to come to God on our own. Who is the one who teaches a kind of magic formula? As if there are two gods.

But you look at the Psalms... you will find that there actually is a verse in which we pronounce the work of the Spirit as a kind of petition to the judge. If you look at the arrangement of the words its the same thing as Jesus pronouncing blessing in the sermon. Psalm...." May your good Spirit lead me on level ground."( I wont even quote the next verses because they are ruthless)  This is like how Moses argued with the Pharaoh over the power of serpents.... you know that in scripture "serpents" represent human authority.  Serpents are creatures that strike a deadly blow to show their authority. In a sense God is using the serpent as a metaphor for the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh ruled the Jews through "violent decrees." "Can a corrupt king be allied with you ... one who brings on misery by his decrees? They band together against the righteous to condemn the innocent to death." "Innocent" is simply people who live in peace in Gods kingdom. So here God is bringing His justice as a kind of metaphor.

You see the decrees of God actually are pronounced over these deadly serpents. But of course Pharaohs wise men had their words of pronouncement as well. But Gods serpents swallow up Pharaohs serpents. lol In other words God takes away Pharaohs authority. He brings one down and raises another up. So in this sense at this event God was pouring out His chalice of judgement in which there was more poison to be swallowed. And when the Pharaoh had swallowed all of it God delivered His people. What was the spiritual significance of this event? There was the Holy Spirit preparing the level ground in which the enemy would be swallowed up in crossing the Nile. lol It really wasnt the peoples obedience but this pronouncement of success or blessing over Israel.
