Hatred toward Christ

ML Ive been pounding this same point for quite awhile. You cant have successful grace if you dont have a perfect law Keeper. If we are saved by real grace then we are ushered into a kingdom where the law has been fulfilled ...the nations have been plundered and through identity we have become kings. Our experience in Christ in this world is to have complete peace. We are peace makers. But the message we preach will create adversity.

Tell a person that God owns everything, God is the final judge and Jesus is the only successfully righteous Person ...you will experience the only real hatred that exist in this world. But because we are in Jesus our Father becomes the Judge, Christ becomes our defense and the Holy Spirit goes before us as our protector and speaks on our behalf. So we obey because we are safe in this relationship. Our obedience is motivated by peace and not self fulfillment. We no longer are at war with heaven. How can a person who rest in Christ do anything wrong? Christ is responsible for our being honorable.

This is my point. The big difference between us and the unbeliever is that we are at peace and they are at war with Christ in this peaceful kingdom. Their disobedience is the same as a violent attempt to threaten Gods kingdom. This is cursing God ...or spreading guilt, shame, sorrow and violence to overthrow Gods people. So if we focus on law keeping as the motive to obey it will be an aggressive attempt to thwart this the King of peace. But if we rest in Christ then we are really the prosecutor of the law. People who are blessed use the curses of the law to overcome all opposition.
